On a side note based on all the responses sounds like Cleveland has some pretty nice people again I appreciate it all can't wait to be there thanks.
Mixed games don't run. Rarely 5/10 NLHE goes off. Standards are 2/5NL, 1/2 5 bring in PLO, and 3/6 limit. Saturdays they get 3/6 O8 going but that's about it.

He actually left the casino around 5 or 5:30 pm and got a knock on his door at home around 9:30pm and was arrested at home, not at the casino.

This is awesome. Do you know if it is going to be the main event of a series ir just a single event?

It's going to be a quarterly run tournament. So my guess is no part of a series.

What's parking been like on Cavs game nights? Any good spots to go when the casino garage is full?
Jack Cleveland Casino (Cleveland, OH) Quote
11-24-2014 , 03:32 AM
During Cavs games there is no chance of parking in the garage. Which is really annoying because there is no contingency plan. You can park in the tower city garage for $10 though if it is full.

So if you live anywhere nearby, taxi/uber would likely be best. That's what I ended up doing.

Or just show up like four hours early. My friend said there was no parking 2.5 hours before the game.

I think it is hit and miss with this game. If it does run, there will be action. You can always play the $1-2 PLO. It is full of regs but the action is there...everyone chasing. You can usually make a few $$, if you can survive

I saw a guy run out of the casino yesterday with 2 cards. He was steamed, busted out and started crumbling them. The dealer got all over him and he bolted with 2 cards in hand. They got him as he was running down the escalator. He is a reg. Not sure what he will get, but they were not happy.

I am a lyft/uber driver. If you haven't tried it use the codes below for $10 and $20 off a lyft and uber ride respectively
Uber - wgby0
Lyft - dan3933

Enter the codes in the payment screen. Sorry if this is not appropriate for this forum. I can delete this post if it is deemed so.

I think it was mostly former cavs Browns a tv news person, nothing crazy. I think all the rebuy money goes to charity so prizepool won't be anything crazy just play for fun I guess.

Blah, was hoping I wouldn't have to post a story like this, but I have to make people aware in case they want to try out some of the daily tourneys.

Normally I play cash on the weekends and the dealers/staff have been great.

Unfortunately in these smaller tourneys all the rules fly out the window. I hopped in the $125 today since there was a small overlay and ended up at the final table. (4 places pay).

To kick things off when the FT started (10 players) about 2 hands in a player shoved utg, for about 5 bbs or so, doesn't matter, it got to a reg a seat down who went into the tank, he thought for a minute or two and then said 'time out', a few seconds after he said that a reg THREE to his left put in calling chips out of turn (haven't seen that from him in the ~2 hours i played with him). The dealer and the floorperson watching all this just laughed and said take it back you're out of turn. Of course the guy in the tank immediately folded and two folds to the guy who called out of turn and he insta called and ended up having QQ. This was obviously a blatant angle between two regs, where the guy with QQ basically told the guy in the tank to fold because he had a big hand.

Next we were down to 7 players and here come the chop talks. Naturally the two smallest stacks were leading the discussion. They wanted to chop for LESS than the min cash and leave the rest for the winner (more than actual 1st place lol). I was the only one who declined because it was a stupid deal (I was 2nd or third in chips fwiw) , and here came the grinch on christmas and karma bs etc. I knew I was doomed when the very next hand it folded to the SB and he was the shortest stack and limped and BB checked and they both saw the flop and then they both showed each other their cards! I couldn't believe it, they were laughing and joking and said we are checking it down.

The Floorman and the dealer acted like nothing out of the ordinary was happening. I looked at the dealer and said how long are you going to let this continue. I got a confused look and no response.

Obviously I'll catch a little flack for not speaking up enough but honestly it wasn't even close to worth the aggravation this would have caused. I didn't even mention the part where the Horseshoe does not facilitate any chops and that I would have to sit around until the tourney was over to collect a chop, where the person could stiff me anyway.

Just please clean this up before any serious tourneys are played here.
