proably not true at all... THe diamond lounge is not a good spot for a game at all and its not very private.

There is a private room in the high limit area but thats not for poker. One dealer said the high rollers played poker there, phil helmuth and josh cribbs!!! Ok.

Now the phone rule is horrible. Yesterday at the PLO table, if you were on your phone or even had it in your hand you wouldnt be dealt cards. 2 idiots screw it up for everyone. Its like were taking a huge step back to the Nautica days now.

ALSO!!!!OLSDgHO:UISDGH:OuO:SDGHIOSghio;

Comps are going to be rolled back to $0.08 (EIGHT CENTS) an hour! WTF? This is an insult. Is the .25/hr so much that they cant pay it? What a joke!

And we are back to being screwed like old Moutaineer,I think they paid out 8 cents an hour at one point as well. They have a captive audience who has shown to take the worst of it and keep coming back. We should have been up in arms when they cut it to 25 cents but now this? unreal. The allure of casino poker minutes from home it's being overshadowed by a poorly run room and these cheapskate antics

I am all for change but 2+2 is a small community that shows up at the casino so we cant do much. The average player doesnt know or care and just wants free parking.

So what do we do? Besides a picket line out front demanding change, I cant see anything else happen.

I heard all this praise about Jeremy before the poker room open and I feel like it was false. I dont think he knows how to run a poker room. If he is for the players and wants to run a fair poker room there wouldnt be so many problems. Lets start with the decision of not putting a betting line on the table. Thats a bad decision you already encourage non regulars to play which is fine but with the a 25bb minimum buying which is a joke. I personally dont like the chairs there to low and non adjustable I see many players stacking two on top because of this. The comps situation is way out of hand and he knows that. I checked my online Total Rewards for the past few days and its 8cent a hour this is complete bull now that there the only game in town they dont give a **** about the players reminds me of nautica. The food being cut off is really bad you cant run a place 24 hrs and not have food the entire time especially with all the drunks being cut off around 2am and the selection of food is also terrible if you cant provide food 24 hrs you should be allowed to bring your own. All we have are unhealthy choices of pizza and burgers and overprice sandwiches with stale bread. I hear there looking to put a hot dog stand inside upstairs on the poker floor another unhealthy choice. The doughnuts and nasty finger food maybe appeasing to some but not the masses. Although the seating of players has gotten better when Ahmad is there it still needs tons of work. Stop sharing the tips and weed the weak dealers out im tired of them exposing cards so frequently or not knowing how to divide side pots, where the action is etc. Where are the daily and nighty tourneys? I dont wanna hear end of summer this is where i miss online and even nautica just because you fill up the poker room its put on the backburner its all a joke and for someone to be quote unquote the head of the poker room he is rarely seen.

Obviously but what can we do? I walked through tonight and everyone was still playing. Nobody stopped bc the comps were bad.

The other place is opening back up on Thursday so lets see what happens... Only time will tell.

Unless you are willing to shop with your feet. (which most poker players aren't), the casino has you.
They can do whatever they want, because in the long run, they know you will keep coming.

Last week the wife and I enjoyed a couple of reuben sandwiches from Corky and Lennys. It only took me about 100 hours of poker to earn enough RCs for the sandwiches.....lol

Oh, GREAT NEWS!!! $0.25!

At this point, it doesnt matter. Starting to look for a new PLO game. 1/3 is right between the 1/2 2/5 so I am good with that.

First of all paragraphs are your friend. I'll End grammar troll mode

Betting lines are bad, they encourage angle shooting against lesser experienced players. Given that the dealer quality is as low as you say it is do you really want to give the dealers 1 more thing to worry about.

If people want to buy in with 25 bb just adjust your game.

Comps/food, when you are a monopoly these things happen. That's why you either have 0 gaming licenses or many gaming licenses in the same city

Tournaments ? Lol, don't be shocked if the juice is 25% or more.

I was driving at the time and I used siri. The angle shooting could be no worse than it is now. People cut chips out in front of there cards after warnings to get reactions anyway with no penalty. With the 25bb It makes the 1-2 game a joke along with the high rake I dont like the 40bb minimum for the 2-5 either

I've never seen the parking Horseshoe parking deck completely full. Go there--get a players card if u dont have one. play at least 30 min, Swipe your card for a voucher at a kiosk inside the casino and parking is free.

Alternatively, after you are done playing poker, ask the front desk in the poker room for them to give you the parking voucher. It's usually much quicker than a kiosk if it's during peak hours.

as for the comps. with the high rake giving a dollar back per player should not be a problem. but i guess they see it as a way to put more money in their pockets. i don't know. in the long run i think people are going to get at bored at 1 - 2 and stop coming because they will be losing/breaking even mainly due to ridiculous rake. but there is nothing else to do in cleveland so maybe if they got a dollar in comps. they would be happier to show up eat a free cheeseburger and nit it up. but i don't know. i think in the long run maybe the comps would make them more money by getting business. but i assume its a business decision by caesars. i don't know, i know im not driving to pittsburgh or detroit to play.
Who really cares about the comps. I am making $40/hr playing 2/5. keep bringing me the fish and i will be happy! I will comp myself by holding back $1 tip every hour.

Fwiw floor man Chris said friday that comps are .25/hr. He also said something along the lines of they'll never let the dealers have their own tip boxes so pooling tips is the only fair way to do it. My idea is to have all the good dealers stay on the high stakes side of the room, and keep the bad ones for the 1/2 games. Then pool tips, but each side of the room has a separate pool. It would reward the better dealers, and force the bad dealers to get better if they want moved to the other side of the room to make more money. Would be great for the players. Idk if they'd ever go for it but what do you guys think? Also, anybody know how many reward credits = $1 for food?

.
Is this not the same in Vegas? Do poker dealers make much more than the pit dealers? If so, do they fight for poker room jobs? I mean yea it makes sense if they going for fairness I guess, but if your a great poker dealer than maybe you deserve to make more. At the same time it does suck for pit dealers b/c of the few times I've played down there, I always felt like I was the only one tipping. Clevelanders are cheap! Maybe if they lowered their table game limits it would leave more money for tips.
