Depends on structure, but I don't make it down much (haven't yet, TBH) so it's not like I'd be a reg in it or anything.

If they don't have dealers for cash tables where are they going to get dealers for tourneys.

I'm told there is a union rep on site right now trying to get enough signatures.
I'd be pretty sure I was 100% right before I went around making a claim like that.

Union would be the death of all the good dealers, and if you doubt me go play in detroit.

How deep does the 1/2 PLO play?

Anybody else hear that the comps for poker players have been dropped from $0.25/hr to $0.08/hr? I was there today playing poker and blackjack, and a guy at my blackjack table was saying he talked to total rewards and that's what they informed him of. I'll feel so sick and disgusted if that's true.

It all depends on who you have at your table. The action is slowing down IMO but its stil way better than NL. Some nights the mix is perfect and stacks are great and players are bad but lately shallow stacks and nitty old guys who ran good the first week they played or just wait for nuts.

You need to know your opponent a lot in the game to know what to do but I still believe 1/2 PLO is a flop game. Flop something good and get it in and fold if not... Simple. Not enough room for plays and people arent good enough to fold hands you are repping.

I'd totally be up for a Big O game on any day, but we can try specifically Thursday if enough are interested. We should totally be the first casino to get it started east of Vegas =)

What do you guys think of the buyins at the shoe for the 1-2 and 2-5? $50-$200,$200-$500 I really think its a super hard grind playing 1-2 with the minimum so low.

Hi Everyone,

I'm going to be in Cleveland for work soon and I'm looking forward to my first visit to the new Horseshoe. I have a few questions in anticipation of my first trip:

I'll probably be there around 5 pm on a Wednesday and then around 6 pm on Thursday. What's the typical wait for a seat at 2/5 NL? Can I call ahead to get on the list? If so, what's the right number to call?

Is there food service available at the tables?

Any tips on parking? I read about being able to get parking validated after playing. Is there a specific lot that I need to park in to take advantage of this?

I'm sure this is too much to ask for, but is a NLHE/PLO rotation game ever spread?

Any other tips for a first time visitor?

Thanks in advance.

No wait (not long) for 2/5 on weekdays usually.

Food service is there, just ask a waitress.

Park in the garage where it says HORSESHOE CASINO and get it validated (easy).

No round by round going. But there is PLO and NL running every day.

are you refering to playing for a living? at 1-2? that's gonna be hard regardless of the min buyin...unless you like saving and doing nothing night after night after night...after night after week after month after month and then saving a little more and on and on the beat goes on

i think the low min is good for attracting new players for a couple years...hopefully they would raise it eventually

Just talked to jermey and he is looking into seeing if a big-o game can run via state law. If so he will start a list...

I requested big-o hi

1/2 PLO8 ran tonight according to Bravo. But it also listed 31 tables.

The 1/2 PLO8 game did actually go off. They had quite a few people cycling through it. I talked with floor about the 31 tables thing, and somehow bravo had added a extra table in. But the game did happen

If players boycotted tipping because tips are pooled (and let management know this) the policy would change.

It's a "test case" for Caesars, and it would be a SHAME if it succeeded.

So, boycott of tipping would hurt dealers a bit short term (though not so much as they pool) but benefit them long term.
