YES. I love 9 handed, again a lot of Vegas rooms are nine handed. One that isn't is the Venetian, I always feel cramped there as I did at the local charity games before the casino opened.

Anyone heard anything on holdem tournaments?

This is not true - I've done nothing in the new casino except play 10 hours of poker, and I earned $10 in comps (and spent in the food court). The earlier reports of comps being 0.25 were also incorrect.

The poker cage cashiers could be doing a better job, imo.

Supposed to be end of Summer. For comps he was talking about Charles Town I believe, yes you get $1 an hour. The cage has gotten much better since opening day, cashouts over 2k are still going slow but that is to be expected.

He was talking about Hollywood Casino Penn National, not the Cleveland Horseshoe.

There are still a ton of people that are convinced that it's 0.25/hour. I wonder if there are actually some people that are incorrectly earning 0.25/hour. I earn $1/hour as intended.

Just made my first visit today. I can say that the room is definitely the best-looking and most comfortable I've ever played in.

Unfortunately, I made the mistake of playing 3/6 limit while I got my bearings and wasted a good couple of hours, along with a bit of money. The staff is very friendly though, and the room is fantastic.

Can anyone comment on how the games are later at night during the week? I have to work Thursday night and might go up around 9 or so. Is it worth it to play then?

Sorry it keeps coming up but I just want to clarify- can someone confirm how many tier credits you get per hour in the poker room vs. how many reward credits you get per hour? Or do both vary based on what game/stakes you play?

And just to clarify, tier credits have to do with just what tier status you are (e.g. gold, diamond, 7-star, etc.) and the perks you get with them, while reward credits are actual comps to be spent on food/hotels, etc., right? And do the reward credits always equate to dollars by 100 credits = $1, or does it depend on what you spend the credits for?

Also, I know you can talk to the floor if you're a familiar reg about getting deals/benefits at hotels affiliated with Horseshoe like the Ritz... any chance of them maybe being able to pull some strings for other Harrahs/Caesars-affiliated hotels/casinos, like Rio? Not to take advantage or anything, just curious whether they actually can...

The games are pretty great every evening.

So getting there at 9 wouldn't be too late? I wouldn't be missing out on getting at a table with some fish?

Not right now you wouldn't, games are packed almost every night. What stakes are playing?

Was thinking of going to this casino this summer. I have read mixed reviews on the room but I was wondering how often PLO gets going there

Cool thanks, I actually do have the Bravo App and saw it was running today. Just wanted to know how frequently the games actually run. Looks like everyday. Thanks for the help.

To clarify, You earn 17 tier credits an hour playing poker. I have been told new reward card members receive .25 an hour comps. While anyone who already had a card receives 1.00 an hour. I believe this to be true. I had a session where my card was not registered in the correct seat. When I checked my credits the next day. I had. Only accrued the .25 an hour. All other sessions I was getting a 1.00 an hour

I am just looking at playing 1/2 nl and would probably be getting there somewhere around 9 or 10. I just don't want to get there and have to wait awhile for a seat only to get at a table full of regs or have it break up after just a few hours

Based on the first 3 weeks, I would say that looking to play 1/2 NL and arriving at around 9 or 10, you will be waiting a while to get a seat. It could be an hour maybe longer.

Saw an article from Cleveland Scene about operations chaos causing lots of employees/dealers to quit.

Edit: incorrect paychecks, missing hours, supervisor intimidation, etc.

I heard that around 100 employees quit after the first pay period.

So I read early on in this thread that the rake is $6+$1, is this still the case? I know it's only been a month, but this seems rediculous IMO. I was planning on coming down from upstate NY, but not if the rake is that rediculous. Thanks for any responses.
