Is there any chances of Nautica will come back if the JACK poker room remains closed for much too longer? My friend David and I used to play at Nautica quite a bit, in the old days.

Everyone who has Twitter check out what Jason Yates tweeted the casino about poker.

It is so accurate IMO... he is so right and accurate about the COMPLETE lack information being given to the people

While I would love to see nautica come back I would say the chances are pretty low that it does. There are plenty of home games in Cleveland right now if you don’t mind playing in shady high rake games.

It is true that the lack of communication sucks, but based on everything I’ve heard is it is in the hands of Dewine’s office. Health department has approved measures and plans provided by poker rooms, but Dewine hasn’t given it the ok. Whether that is true or not, I don’t know, but it is what I have been told.

Who’s going to be the new manager since they kicked that tall, lanky jerk off to the curb? Any other nazi floor people gone too? Would help banned players get ban lifted I feel.

I've heard from dealers at Hard Rock in Cincinnati that they have to go back on 3/11 for training or something. Of course this coincides with the 1 year anniversary of the room shutting down, so it may be they have to just show up to still be considered employed, but hopefully it means they are working towards reopening the rooms in Ohio.

Poker dealers said that? Could be optimistic. It seems kind of odds to go back for training? You should ask them more about this if you can?

The training could have something to do with covid protocol and I would guess with the plexi glass on the tables there are possibly a few different rules. Dewine’s press conference yesterday was promising. It would be an absolute travesty if poker doesn’t open by the end of the month.

They just know they are being recalled on 3/11, their jobs were to be ended on 3/12 though. No one has said anything in regards to the room actually opening back up, but they are optimistic.

After talking with others it does seem like a done deal.

I wonder how busy it will be and if the lists will be long at first? 6 handed it sounds like which I like a lot.

Well since Jack didn’t announce it on Twitter like they said they would a million times the poker room opening the 12th can’t be true could it?

Can't vouch for Jack Cleveland specifically, but a good friend here in Cincy texted me saying full time dealers at HRock Cincy are being retrained March 11th and that they may open that weekend. So my assumption is all OH poker rooms will be opening next weekend or within a week or two thereafter

looks like they are testing out the Bravo...1 person on the waitlist. Hard Rock Cincy shows 1 game going with people on the wait list. Obviously no game running but it appears they are going to be ready soon.

Not sure what it means but just walked up to the poker room and the blackjack tables are still up there and nothing looks moved. That doesn’t mean anything I just thought they would get rid of the blackjack tables. Maybe they are permanent and the poker room is downsized for good.

not a great sign, especially for the rumors that it would be opening at 8am tomorrow. You would think something would have been announced by now. The rumor was also 15 tables to start so I guess they could still have BJ tables up there and still accommodate 15 poker tables...did it look like there were at least 15 poker tables?

Re Hard Rock Cincy, my very reliable source is saying six handed starting most likely tomorrow or Saturday.

I would say there are 15 tables or more with plastic dividers, maybe more but they don’t appear to be laid out yet. They were bunched up in the back of the room. The only section that looks ready to go is the right side of the room where the 2/5 and plo tables are. The room is not opening tomorrow so hopefully that means they are getting rid and of the bj tables, they take up a lot of room and are almost never open.

Yeah the room isn’t reopening tomorrow....

Maybe tonight they can get the room set up and it could go Saturday?
