What are the sizes you're seeing? I've played there where the standard open at 200nl was between 10-12. Peoples sizing there really confuses the hell out of me.

I understand how no one adjusts. But how does that result in more money being on the table? Or do you just mean the games are playing deeper?

When I say deeper, I mean to say that if the standard raise is still 10-12, then it is a deeper game when stack sizes are around 150BBs rather than 100. But I don't see how the lack of adjustment causes more money to be in play.

The only difference I noticed in the short time I played was the preflop raises... in 1/2 they were in the $6-$12 range, with a lot of $10 raises. Now the pre flop raises I see are more like $10 - $18 with a lot of $12 and $13 pre flop raises.

After the flop, I wouldn't know it wasn't a 1/2 game... random amounts, all in short stacks, bingo players calling any two cards....

I thought they got rid of all the weekly guarantees. I'll come by next Wed. for it. Are you there? If so how is the turnout?

It's Wednesday night and there is no LHE running or $2/$5 NLHE running. $2/$5 NLHE is going to run much less Monday - Thursday with a $1,000 cap.

Have they run those $80 weekend tournaments yet? Anyone have any idea of turnout? I haven't played but don't think I'd mind them much as it's the only way I can get a bunch of my random friends to play. I guess it's mentality of "Oh, it's under $100 whatever. But if it's a $150 it's way too steep."

Then again if they get 20 people, I'd rather stay home and play online.

Doubt it they would be promoting the hell out of it. They need at least 30 days to get OGC approval on anything so they can't throw something together last second.

Not typical. This room is just badly run.

Bravo app shows 37 players for today's $80 buy in. $2220 prize pool. That's a $60 payout per player. Hell of a rake when you add in the $10 dealer add on. Already down to 5 players. I think I'll pass.

I'm curious to see what tonight's turnout will be.

I think you meant Saturday night. I played Friday night and there were 2 tables running til past 1am. Most of the players coming to the table were not aware of the new buyins, and when told, none of them chipped up from their $500 to 1k.

With 1/3, it's going to be tough to keep a 2/5 table going during the week.

The 2/5 is basically dead in Cleveland, it is just not a good game or a fun game anymore and I don't see it coming back. PLO took most of the action, just a fact. I don't think the player pool in Cleveland can support a good 2/5 game and a good PLO game.

I'm curious what is your definition of a "good 2/5 game"?
