Capital is nice for sure, but I believe that per MLB ownership rules he can't have a stake in a casino. The Tigers owner before (Domino's pizza guy) the current owner (Little Cesar's pizza guy) sold his casino shares (of MCC) to his wife but I believe MLB has caught onto that one as well. GL

PS .. There's a lot of money in franchising pizza chains ...

Has anyone seen/found a structure sheet for the $100k gty PLO tourney coming up? There doesn't appear to be one on either the poker room's site or twitter.

I believe the tourney only got 150-160 entrants, so there would have been a decent overlay. They had to lose something like $30k.

Casino lost nothing. All the overlays come out of the promo fund.

I had heard that, but wasn't sure about that. In that case, say goodbye to 1k high hands and other promos.

They still have 50k in the promo fund. They won't stop having promos with $2 a hand coming out. I'm guessing when they have 1k high hands those days pretty much come out a wash.

Schedule has been posted on the Bravo app if anybody was wanting to know.

Does anybody know how long the $400 $50K guaranteed tournament runs the first Saturday of the month?

Nevermind, I tweeted them for the info. Shame it clashes with WSOPC Cherokee

Well, they had it on there a few days ago, but it seems like it’s gone now. I guess it hasn’t been approved yet with the state? From what I remember, it starts the first weekend of August (which seems earlier to me) with the $350 $250K guaranteed tourney (with Day 1A on August 1st) and the Main Event the next weekend (I believe the final table being on Monday August 12). I also noticed a short deck tournament and a ladies tournament... can’t remember what else.

It runs until 3 or 4 AM if they play it down I believe. Last Saturday they chopped it either 11 or 12 ways and it ended at 1:30 or 2 AM if I recall correctly.

Talked to a guy that chopped and he said everyone had between 8 and 15 bbs and the chop was for 3rd place money.

Sounds like a pretty good chop to for 11 or 12 people to get 3rd place money.

haha I actually ended up playing in it, and was in the 12 person chop. I think the last break happened at the perfect time, because the chop amount had just went above $5K and everybody was pretty even in chips at the moment. I think all of us (and the dealers) were pretty happy to just take the money and go home.

Does anybody know if you can order Bobby's Burger Place online? I tried to get a burger during the dinner break, but realized after I stood inline for awhile I wasn't going to have enough time. (which was really important, because I had ~10 BBs at the time and was going to be on the BB the first hand back)

I looked online and it appears you can order pick up online.

This is good to know! I should’ve thought about this during the tournament.

I'm going to have a few hours to kill while traveling. What will likely be running, if anything, on a Thursday between 3 AM and noon?

I would assume just a couple tables of 1/3 NL. At 3 AM you may still get some PLO going on as Wednesday evening is usually a big PLO night, but not sure how late they run.

How many levels does the main play day 1. Info online is hard to find.

Obviously this is too late, but they probably never put it online. I believe the kickoff played down to 12% of field or end of level 20, whichever came first. It had 30 minute levels on day 1 compared to 40 minutes levels for main, so would assume 12% or end of level 15.

Couple of pretty good sessions this past Labor Day weekend.

1) 1/2 PLO was very juicy. I past on going to 5/5 just to stay with those folks.
2) Apparently they have BBJ promos that 'must' hit ... so on Sunday they were going to reduce the losing hand every so often until it hit. Was KKKxx or something Sunday at 11 AM.

3) Was surprised at how quickly it emptied out on a Sat night. The room lost more than half it's Players by Midnight. Possible there were some extras in there for the car drawing taking place, but that usually doesn't affect a poker room too much.
4) No issues with Dealers or Floors ... well run during my stay. VERY good communication without being too bothersome to the ongoing games with Dealers informing Floor's of Player's wishes or other things.

5) Wait staff was excellent. I don't do too much with them but it seemed like at least once per orbit a server was coming by.
6) On and off I-71 is about as easy as it gets for anywhere I've been ... even MCC in Detroit.

7) AWESOME 30 minutes of fireworks Sunday night over the Ohio River. It was non-stop 'finale' type of presentation with both OH/KY sides of the river packed. BUT traffic was not snarled up the way you might expect trying to get out.

Obv I'm not a reg, but I've never had issues in this room. From the regs in this thread I get the feel that it should be much more than it is for being in a city this size. Couple of regs that ended up on the 1/2 PLO later in the night were pretty negative and were gossiping back and forth. Until next time ... GL
