Ante's introduced pretty late in the tourney. how long does it normally take to get to final table?

Important news regarding JACK casinos:

I've heard from two friends this week on separate occasions that they talked to JACK rewards reps about their comps/points and were told they will expire on December 31. One friend had nearly $500 in points (so he opted to spend them on Beats headphones). They told him that a lot of his points were accumulated at the transition from Horseshoe to JACK and the points expire after 6 months. I don't know what happens to points/comps that were recently accumulated though. I also don't know the difference between JACK points vs comp dollars on their website (I have 91 points and $16 dollars ... their website is conveniently unclear on this).

Since I don't know all of the particulars and won't be going here any time soon, if someone who comes here often can post back that would be helpful. Also posting this in the Cleveland thread.

I think all $ matched from the transition expires on either 12/31 or 1/6. So if you had $200 on Caesars, and Jack gave you $200 but you have $250 on Jack, you will on have $50 left assuming you never spent any of the Caesars money. Comp earned shouldnt be expiring, but money acrued from points resets every 6 months.

This is my interpretation of the rules. I wont be going to the desk to ask, I've always had an issue dealing with those people so i just ask questions on Twotter now.

I went to the Club JACK desk and was told my comps are good until 6/31/17. Most of the $370 I still have were from Horseshoe, they did mention this only applied to C & K members, J or A would lose anything as of 12/31.

ah damn, wish i would have read this. I have $600 that transferred from Caesars. I still have it all mostly. I am a C member, hope it's good for a while or I need to drive over tonight and use it all I guess.

How's the Omaha action lately? Stopped in Saturday hoping for some O8 and things were pretty dead. No O8 and only one PLO table. Looked like both games had gained some traction when I was there last in December?

Also, FYI, tried the noodle place and the new version of the pizza pit stop. Both were very good. The pizza was astonishingly good compared to what it was last time I ate there.

Sadly, I saw some poor very hammered young cat with a long black beard get called a "sand-dude" and "ISIS" by some older hammered redneck hill billy. Didn't go well for the billy. Hate seeing stuff like that.

Love JACK, used to work there dealing nosebleed black jack when it first opened...will be interesting to see how long it can stay relevant in Cincy.

I believe O8 only consistently runs on Fridays and is a 6-12 game and the last time I played it it had a kill that makes it 10-20. For a while I think they would get a 3-6 on Saturdays, but haven't seen that run in a while.

PLO runs 1-2 daily as far as I can tell, can't remember the last time I was in the room at normal hours and a game wasn't running. 5-5 and above runs on I believe Monday, Wednesday, and Friday regularly, but could be wrong on that front as I never play above 1-2.

Was this the 1k buyin? Just yesterday I got excited looking at their Bravo page which showed a 1k and a multi-day $300ish trny. Now today it's gone, and there's only a reference to the 200k $730 JPC in March. So did they cancel the other series?? Seems that way, which sucks.

On their website it says the only fixed-limit hold'em they spread is 3/6. That true? If so, how often does it run? Weekday nights? Weekend nights?

Hmm... Bravo Poker Live didn't indicate any 3/6 running last night between 7pm and 10pm... but I'll trust a human being over a computer - was it running last night and Bravo just didn't know about it?

I wouldn't say it runs 24/7 or anything, but I feel like it is running almost every time I am in the room (usually weekends and weekdays 6 PM until 1 AM). I don't play it though, so it may run less than I think.

Dumped a bunch here on Friday. Host was nice enough to give me a 100$ to the gift shop. I'll be back with vengeance

I'm coming to visit this weekend and plan on checking out the poker room. Does anyone know how many runners the $80 Saturday deepstack normally gets? How long does it last as well?

I don't play it, but I feel like it gets between 100 and 120 players based on memory of looking at the board, but could be wrong. The nightly $80 turbos during the week get 45-60 players most of the time.

I don't ever recall seeing it running that late, so would assume it is over by 7 or 8 PM.

Someone that plays them would have a better grasp though.

Any news on the Labor Day tourney series?

The schedule is on Bravo. There was still nothing as far as structures or any more details in the room, when I was there on Sunday.
