Anyone know approximately when on average the final tables have been finishing up for the "Tuesday & Thursday 6:30pm $110 (80+15+15), 6k, 20 min" tournaments? Thanks.

The tournament had 81 players today. I was very surprised to have that many. The Monday tournament seems to have the most entrants. Anyone have any idea why Monday is so popular?

Wow, I cannot believe that many people don't have work at noon on Monday. Maybe everyone is just taking Mondays off assuming it will have the lowest attendance numbers.

Balooko, The aim is to have the 6:30 tournaments end around midnight. This is why the blinds and antes jump so high so quickly.

So lets say you win two tournies, what happens to the main event entry?

They run similar events at wsop , say starting stack in 15k - basically u get three 5k bullets and u can use all at once , or start with 1 or 2 of them. All three have to be in play generally by level 4. Pretty interesting concept really.

If you win a second one they tax it and you get the rest in tournament dollars

There's a thread now in MTT for the circuit event:

Stopped by here on my short trip home last Friday (I live in San Diego now) and I was impressed. Good food, dealers and staff seemed knowledgeable and friendly, and the room itself was nice and clean. Only played 1/2 for a couple of hours, but I made $100. Play was typical soft LLLSNL. The entire casino was packed. My mom had fun playing slots and people-watching.

Might fly back for the circuit event...I have to say this being here makes the prospect of visiting the parents more attractive than it used to be

The best part? All but two TVs in the place had the Reds game on. yeah baby!

Most of these events are a little expensive for myself. I will not be able to play in many of their events, due to the cost. I still like Hollywood's tournament set up. I will be able to play in more events. What is the house take on the WSOP? I know Hollywood is advertising 11%.

judging from past WSOP circuit events 300 is the buy in 65 is the juice, but all of that will be confirmed in the structure sheets when they are released, keep watching the schedule sheet.

The real thing to look for when the sheets are released will be if there is a staff gratuity withheld over and above the 65 bucks or if the staff gratuity is part of the 65 buck.

these events were 345 last year, which was about 16% plus 2% of prize pool for staff and dealers.

the straight 365 is about 18% so I hope that means they rolled staff and dealer gratuity into the juice.

Last season 2012/13, the $300 events were $300+65, the $65 covered all casino/staff/dealer rake, there is no additional % taken out for staff.

In 2011/12 it was $345, + a $10 dealer add-on for $355, but the breakdown was $291+54+10. They were still taking 3% on top of the +$10, that's all gone now.

From the schedules that have been posted so far, Foxwoods, Biloxi, Cincy the buy-in/rake is the same as last year. Also included in the rake is whatever % they take out to fund the year end "Circuit Event National Championship" with a guaranteed $1 million prize pool.

Wtf. I Liked This Place When It First Opened. Don't Know Im Going Back.

3 Way. I Bet 3/4 Pot River.

Guy turns To Player Behind Him. " Im Worried About You". Remaining Guy dropS His Cards And Pulls hIs Hand Back (Obviously Showing He's Going To Fold. GuY Who Action Is On Calls Of Course.

Wtf.

What Should Dealer Do In That Situation?

The only thing they can do is warn the player not to indicate action out of turn. There is nothing they can do about the hand that was played.

Why would you not go back after a situation that can and has happened at any room in the country and would be the same result?

I agree. It would be great if everyone always acted in turn and never did anything which indicated what they're going to do until it was their turn but that's just not the reality of live poker. All they can really do is warn the guy, and in this case they might not even do that since he didn't actually act out of turn. I'm not disputing that what he did was unethical, I'm just saying there's no rule against dropping your cards in front of you and sitting back in your chair.

Also curious if anyone has noticed how the 1-2 games play prior to tourneys. Would be nice to win a free roll into the tourney if you catch my drift but my guess is others have the same idea

8th out of 68 today. I've played two tourneys now and made two final tables, 4th and 8th. They paid out top 6 toady, which was a shame for me!

Fun time. Wish they would wait 3 more rounds to start the antes. So lame and slows down the action while dealers make "change". Only complaint otherwise a blast!
