The "main game" was filled with the same regs who played at Hollywood. At one point in time, 6 of the spots were filled with people who had check-down agreements with each other. There was actually open negotiation about who was checking down with whom. Pretty offputting, actually. One of the other non-regs was clearly upset about it.

The allegedly blue $2 chips are distressingly close to being black. Perhaps it isn't a big deal, but it seems like a potential for angles in any game where both denominations are allowed.
I played and and did well against the regs, they are pretty bad and I doubt ill have to worry about 100 chips being in a limit game, I actually think they are not allowed.

yeah they only allow white chips in the 3/6 games and the "blue" chips in the 6/12 the first time i played there and saw that game i was like "HOLY ****!!!" thought everyone had stacks of blacks

I did well from a money perspective. My results have been above the level that should be considered sustainable. (Too bad it's at a 5-10 and 6-12 limit game.) I didn't do so well from a blood pressure perspective, however. Whenever they bet or raise until the third player (non-reg) folds and then they check it down, I think it costs me 17 seconds of life expectancy. Sometimes they turn their hands over before the river is even dealt.

I wouldn't worry about a the chip confusion in a limit game. Don't really care there. I'm more worried about the potential for confusion in a NL game.

1-2 NLHE in Lawrenceburg allowed black chips in the game. (Which I'm not sure I like in the first place.)
I don't know what they do in the 1-2 game in Cincy.
If they allow both the very dark blue $2 chips and the black $100 chips, then it seems like a recipe for trouble.

1/2 @ Horseshoe does not have $2 chips--100's are not allowed on 1/2. They used to have $2 chips at 1/2 during the first 2-3 weeks. I for one actually liked the $2 chips at 1/2 (just because I hate white chips )

I haven't played much nl here but I did sit down friday with $100 in red and a black chip while waiting for plo/ Only played about 15 minutes. but no one said anything about my black chip.

I did notice that the dealer at 1/2 made 3 different players call a bet and made one min raise when he didnt even want to call, while they were clearly thinking or shuffling chips. but had there chips slightly to the side not even in front of the cards which is ridiculous. Should at least give a warning or something. One player flat out refused (half the table sided with the player) so dealer let it go.

Good to know. Thanks.
I'll probably play some 1-2 NL when I play there. I like the fact that $100 chips don't play. How about green $25 chips? Do they play?

as in running or a list? sometimes there are mistakes on the list. the 25/50 plo/nl list is always a mistake, as is the 100/200 limit list. They are misclicks when inputting people onto other lists.

25/50 Limit O8? I doubt that they would structure a limit game that way. It would either be 20/40 or 30/60. 1-2 chip structure is the nut low (assuming it would play with green) and the SB is all kinds of weird.

I was there from 5-11 and there was no such game. I don't even remember seeing an interest list.

Are you guys getting the action players from Louisville up there for the bigger games (e.g. that guy who owns a bunch of chicken restaurants)? Any regular time?

What action players in Louisville? That guy has always been a Cincy/Argosy/Wood player. 5/10 NL usually goes Friday and sometimes Saturday.

I know there probably isn't a set schedule yet, but do the majority of NLHE events tend to be closer to the 365$ or closer to the 1675$?

The 2012-13 WSOPC events had mostly $365, 1 or 2 $580, and the Main is $1675.

They basically take a cookie cutter and make the schedules at each stop... expect it to be very similar to the Horseshoe Southern Indiana from last year: http://www.wsop.com/tourney/tourneyd...sp?groupID=899
