It has a $5 bring-in and they count the blinds as one single $5 bet so you can actually pot it UTG to $15. All betting must be in increments of 5. It's what a starter PLO game should be. White chip PLO games just don't work.

Any new players in the Cinci PLO games or mostly players who routinely play at other OH/IN casinos?

There were some new faces but it was mostly the same crowd. Towards the end of the night the must move 5/10 game was the only table with open seats so we actually had a couple of people who were tired of waiting for other games sit down and take a shot.

Yes. I played he 1-3-5 at Hollywood a few months ago and felt it was too big for me. It didnt help that it was pretty aggressive and I didnt hit my draws and busted out with my 500 buyin. I opened the 1-2 yesterday and was much more comfortable even though it probably is still a little too high for me. I am more a limit player and wishes the 6-12 holdem (and the same players from the 3-6 table are there) and the 6-12 omaha8 gets going.

I will be playing the 1-2 PLO more. I hate NL Holdem. People at the PLO and omaha8 tables both at Hollywood and Horseshoe were very nice and fun to play with. 3-6 people are a mixture. I played 3-6 yesterday and there was a drunk guy who had been there 12 hours and was obnoxius. I was more than happy to move to the PLO.

I see they have been running a 6-12 Omaha hi/lo game regularly. Anyone here played in it? Does it have staying power? Is it the same group that used to play at hollywood? Hoping to check it out tommorow.

Best part about this post is that Tom knows exactly who Scrila is referring to. I wonder if your feelings would be the same if you were the one he told he was going to "put a bullet in your head". We all know it wouldn't be the first time he'd come through on a threat like this.

I'm not suggesting Scrila was threatened, but he was certainly at the table when it happened. Like others have said, these are the things that need to be squashed immediately for this casino to survive. Even the smallest on inclinations that this type of behavior is tolerated will keep everyone away.

so this was actually said and the dealer just ignored it? Did anyone call the floor?

Ok, first off I had no idea who Scrilla was talking about when he made his post. Secondly, threatening to put a bullet in someone's head certainly is something that warrants someone getting kicked out and even banned. However that's not what Scrila said at all in his original post. All he said was

Can you see how that statement by itself, without knowing any other details on what was said or how the person in question was acting might seem a little off? That's the only point I was trying to make. If people are actually threatening other people, then yes, they should be kicked out regardless of the neck of the woods they're from.

I recognized a few faces from the old Hollywood game. It's run just about every day since they've opened so it seems there's decent interest in it. In the long run I don't see it being a daily game but I could see it running two or three times a week. According to Bravo they have two tables running right now.

I played in it a little bit Thursday before I had to leave. I recognized a few guys from Hollywood and it seemed most knew each other somewhat. Alot of talk about the barbershop game and one guy calling all his buddies during the game to try to get them down. I think Hollywood pissed them off somehow and they were boyotting them. I'm thinking that they will pick one or two days as omaha8 days. it appears today may be one of them, since it has two
tables going with the first one being this morning.

The table plays with two dollar chips which was kinda weird, but I play alot of 3-6 so it wasn't too bad for me since i'm used to the structure. They will chip down if you bring 5 dollar chips to the table. Not sure why they do this nor any of the dealers know why as well.

hope this helps

I hate those $2 chips already. They shouldn't be on the table in games where black chips play. Sooner or later somebody's going to get shorted $98.

The managers are originally from Horseshoe Hammond (Chicago) which also uses $2 chips so I'm guessing they're using the same formula. The only casino in the area that uses them but eventually u get used to them. I hated when they 1st started using them as well.

It wouldn't be tough for me to jog your memory of who it is, but calling out players on here is not allowed, right?

I get your point and I wasn't trying to be offensive. I was simply pointing out that your response was just as presumptuous as Scrila's original.

Fair enough, lets all be friends now.

I know who it is now by the way, I heard the whole story last night.

No reason not to be friends

Do you know if anything has been done to prevent further issues like this?

The player in question wasnt out of line last night from what I saw, hopefully a floor told him to cool it.

I don't mind the $2 chips. I just think they need to change the colors. I have yet to have an issue with them because I always ask for a count. I'm just tired of other people complaining about them. Had a case on wednesday where a player shipped flop for $400+, other player thought he only had $110 and snap called before getting a count.

They do not take call ins. So far it has worked well without them IMO and I have never really waited long to get a seat. Last night was the first time I had to actually wait at all and it wasn't long.

There is a 10/20 stud game going right now, never thought I would see that here. A 6/12 OE game would be awesome and I'd play it all the time.

When Horseshoe Hammond stopped taking call ins, there was this same concern. Since Hammond has implemented this policy, I wait less then when they had call ins, and yes I used to call in. So just don't blindly say the above.

I look forward to this coming weekend as I plan to make a trip to this new room!

My wife and I were in the elevator last night and got cornered by a group of guys fighting with a girl that had gotten off the elevator. My wife says she won't go back. Im pretty unhappy with the way some people act like they are the only people on this planet and they have a right to act any way they want.

Anyone know if the parking garage is full? I want to come over and play but I ain't paying 5 bucks again tonight to park in another lot like I did yesterday. Eventually they are going to have to add more parking this 2500 spots stuff ain't cutting it.

I've played in it twice now. Once with a bunch of Hollywood Cbus dealers and today with the Barbershop crew. Good game. More action than I expected. I think it lasts. Now if only the HORSE game would run...

Have to wonder if Razz is a game they are approved for? I'm guessing probably not. Id def play in a 6/12 HOSE or OE game.
