I sent you a PM. The game would run early morning on weekends. It'll probably be at Creek given the Isle opens at 10am.

Does any one happen to know if I can use my Caesars Diamond $100 celebration dinner here at Myron's or Farradday's?

95% certain you can at Farraday’s. But I must add when I was there a couple of months ago Farraday’s was mediocre at best for both food and service.

I'd be curious to know too... Games being better? Or still a ghost town?

11:30 am on a Friday....looks like five 1/2 NL tables going (5 waiting) and 6 waiting to open up a 2/5 game per Bravo app.

Could be worse I guess.

I'll probably be there tomorrow and scout it out.

How large at the 1/2 stacks there late on a Friday or Saturday?

I know the 2/5 games can get crazy. But last I was there it was full of tricky trappy old man coffees. Not very fun.

All games are good and Bravo is usually accurate. There are a couple seats you can PM me about in $5/$10/$10NL. The WSOP-C coming up should be fantastic.

Anyone hear anything lately about the hotel they are building on the property?

Thought I saw it would be done in 2022 but not sure.

I believe the whole project is on hold while the Seminoles sort out their compact and gambling expansion is debated. The environment right now legally is not conducive to making long-term plans and commitments.

How would you say the games compare between PBKC and Hard Rock Hollywood for 1/2 specifically.

Similar boat as I’ve been away for a few years and looking to get back in.

Hard rock seems alot more active than Isles according to Bravo app all 3 are 25-45 min drive.

I was there a week ago, live in pbc and while the action is great, I really don't like the Pbkc and took the drive. Two nitty $1/$2 games with almost all retirees. Waste of time. One $2/$5 with a list. Back to the Kennel....

Isle is significantly closer to me but debating on whether PBKC or Hark Rock are the place to take that 45 min drive to.

If I were you - I would take the longer drive and play at Hard Rock Hollywood or PBKC.

Good luck.

Why not Coconut Creek? It’s 5 min from Isle and always multiple 2/5 games running and usually a 5/10.

Never considered Coconut Creek might have to give it a shot as well since it is so close but I'm only rolled for 1/2 atm.

I've only played at Isles way before covid and 1 session years ago at Hard Rock before the renovation and preferred Isles just for the comfort and quality of the room at the time.

Looking to get back into playing live more frequently but it seems so much has changed with the rooms and quality of games.

I figure the games would be softest at the Hard Rock because of the large casino/ hotel etc..

Do you think with the rake its worth playing 1/2 or just save up and make the jump to 2/5?

CoCo Creek games are fine except..... the smoking which is absolutely disgusting. While it isn't allowed on the poker table the poker area is surrounded by the casino. I can't stand it. So I don't go there. I am close to it.

Ok so the Isles as of last year is still a tricky nit fest. Good to know.

1/2 @ Hard Rock worth playing..... yes. I can play 2/5 or 5/10 but I really just want to relax while playing. I played professionally about 12 years ago for a while online and made enough money to start a business. Now playing for recreation I average about $24 an hour @ the 1/2 over the last 5 years. My expected EV is $30 an hour. I keep track of all my hands that I put money in the pot with.

BUT.... the $30 an hour is because I always try and play at deep tables where the average table stack is $250+. If you sit at a table with $100 stacks you are just lighting your money on fire. Have fun with the $5 an hour win rate.

Because of my experience there is no once remotely close to my level at 1/2. 2/5 you have plenty of players that are challenging. How good they are I don't know. But I have heard that the 2/5 is just backpack pro infested now due to COVID and the lack of bad player disposable money.

Anyways back to 1/2

If you are decent enough at the 1/2 and pick big stack tables you can make up to $20 an hour with reasonably good skills learned from books or a training site. This assumes at the Hard Rock on a Friday or Saturday night when many bad players are there. This information is from about a year ago. I haven't played since COVID much. Too many ignorant people bragging about how they didn't take the vaccine talking to my face without a mask. One guy even claimed because he played in dirt as a kid he was immune to COVID.

Anways, stack depth is critically important to win rate. The Hard Rock's reasonable rake makes it possible. Their hotel rates are unreasonable though.

I played in Cali with a drop for a while. My win rate plummeted because I didn't understand how it impacted how much I won. I finally asked the detailed, worked a mathematical formula for win rate with the variables of drop/street betting/EV/stack depth.... conclusion? Drops are murder to your winrates on a variety of levels and increase variance. This was around 8 years ago.

Never want to play a drop game again.

CoCo moved poker upstairs by itself. No exposure to main casino floor and no smoking on the floor itself.

Coconut Creek moved the poker room upstairs toward the end of last year and upstairs is non-smoking.

Oh that's awesome. They are close to my home. I will certainly give it a shot.

Games have good stack depth? Is it more like Hard Rock or Kennel Club style of play?
