Can anyone who plays here give me the schedule for the Poker classic or at least the date for the first event? No idea why they don't have it on their site yet. http://www.horseshoe-indiana.com/Eve...+POKER+CLASSIC

The max buy in for a 2-5 game is $1,000 regardless of who you are, but if we bust another 2-5 game and combine tables, we do allow the players from the broken table to come to the game with the chips that they have. The collusion statement is very possible, but we can only fix it if we are alerted to it and I am unsure how that benefits the house.
I hate to break it to you, but the floor people at HCSI DO NOT go out of there way to make strangers feel welcome.

Sorry didn't realize this was a necro bump.

The last one was cancelled due to Ohio River Flooding and they had to close the boat. Horseshoe Poker Classic Starts May 12th.

looks like the rain isn't going to let up the next few days... Should I assume the place is going to be flooded again Monday or Tuesday?

why did the horseshoe SI Poker account get banned here? It would be nice if they could post what kind of action they were getting a couple times a day like the borgata thread

FROM RAPINI's READ BEFORE POSTING!!! *B&M Forum Guidelines (UPDATED 2011.04.07)*

Welcome to the Brick and Mortar Forum (“B&M”) at 2+2. We take a liberal view on acceptable topics in B&M as long as the topic is related to brick and mortar card rooms and the discussion remains socially acceptable. Generally, the standard we use re social acceptance is the same as a well-managed poker room: you cannot post something that wouldn't be tolerated at a poker table in a card room.

Additionally, the following specific guidelines apply:

(1) No-content posting. No-content posting is not permitted. Please make sure that your posts contribute positively.

(2) Profanity filter. 2+2 has a profanity filter built into its software. Please do not self-censor or otherwise attempt to dodge that filter; simply type expletives as you would normally and let the filter do its work.

(3) Unlawful activities. Posts about breaking the law are not permitted. (E.g., underage gambling, underground card rooms, etc.)

(4) Trolling. Trolling is not permitted. For a definition of trolling, visit http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_troll.

(5) New threads. Before making a new thread, use the search function. It is preferable to bump an old on-topic thread than start a new thread if your subject is not original. Also, before making a new thread, be certain that there is no forum that is more appropriate for your subject. If you need guidance on this issue, please send a private message to a moderator. Finally, please make the title of your thread substantive and descriptive.

([B]6) Card room employees. Card room employees must become authorized representatives before posting information on their place of employment. Please contact Two Plus Two Advertising for more information.

(7) Privacy of non-famous players and card room employees. Respect other players' and card room employees' privacy; do not use their names on the forum unless they have given permission to do so either explicitly on the forums or implicitly by becoming an authorized representative.

The previous B&M Forum FAQ, which remains an excellent resource for guidelines on posting, tips on how to use the search function, and frequently asked questions, can be found here: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/27...topics-201389/.

If you have any questions about the above guidelines or wish to discuss moderation action, please either: (a) in the case of a specific incident, send a private message to the moderator taking the action; or (b) in the case of a general suggestion/discussion, send a private message to any moderator -or- post in the Moderation Discussion Thread, which can be found here: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/27...hread-1015451/.

I would guess that is why they are no longer on here.....

hope the river isn't rising... this rain won't stop...

I'd say theyll get 200250ish on the weekends, maybe 100-150 during the week... hopefully the $750 gets at least 200...

anyone seen what kind of rake these events are? is the $750 a $700+$50? Prob worse than that

why would you want to play on a Mon or Tuesday? They got 185 runners for day 1A, Day 1b will start this Friday, with day 2 on Sat if the water goes down, but its supposed to rain till Wed.

cash... I was able to get plo going Tuesday early and it lasted 11ish hours and I need something to do with no online poker. I probably won't be able to golf monday/tuesday, I may as well be productive and try to make some money.

Did they have to cancel Friday's 1B action? I didn't hear that. I was busy last Friday but might be able to get there this week.

But you are right, the way things are right now they may not open all week. It's bad out there. Enough of this flippin' rain!!! At least for Derby week pls?

Yes, they cancelled it just past the start time of the tourney.

The rumor that was circulating around the poker room was that the casino was going to close around 8pm that day because of the rising river. They still had Satellites running thru the day which was fun.

Oh boy. Worse than I thought. About a 0.0% chance they are open for Derby week... especially considering we're going to get another 3-4" of rain tomorrow
