I played it for about 5 years...someone in particular you’re wondering about or just 1/2 players in general?

Most are just terrible and get pissed off when their $100 buy-in dwindles down to $25 and they “shove” JJ preflight then get called by A5o and the ace hits...”you called me with A5?!? I haven’t played a hand for 4 hours...you were SOOOO behind!!!!!”

Most people even some of the ones who think they are aware are paying attention to the point they really remember beyond that session to beyond obvious outliers and douchebags not whether or not you're vpip'ing 20 or 40 or 60% imo.
When I was going a lot, I never went more than 2 out of every 3 weeks, and I recently came off an 18 month break. I don't have any reason to think I stick out as memorable (except maybe on the days I'm drinking because I won't ever shut up and I can be a bit annoying that way).

Yeah, I just mean in general. I was wondering if the 1/2 casual players just became a blur of indistinct faces.

People will probably remember your face but won't remember or care much about your playstyle. I remember pretty much all faces even the old lady who plays 3/6 lhe and video poker degens at 6th street. People that are there even semi regularly people who are there a lot will recognize at least the same way they recognize a janitor or security guard.

Re: Horseshoe Hammond (Hammond, IN)

Poker players always remember their beats ... did you beat them with AA or 57s? That will be the difference. I just saw a guy yesterday at MCC that I hadn't played against in over two years and he vividly remembered the 57o I got him with on A68x4 to beat his Flopped set.

He only plays 4-7 times a year ... everyone's different but all it will take is one person to remember and they will spout off everything they know to show the crowd how smart they are! GL

He went through a phase where his motion to throw cards forward for a fold would result in the cards LITERALLY barely going past the bet-line. To make matters worse, he always sits in the 2/3/7/8 seats so the short dealers had to stand up to reach and get his crass

He used to do that before they brought in the bet line and then he would get offended when the dealer didn't know if he folded or not.

I heard Machine Gun Steve got the axe, and that there was an "incident" that led to it, anybody got the scoop?

Re: Horseshoe Hammond (Hammond, IN)

I'm moving to Chicago soon and was wondering how the 5/10 action was. I've heard some bad things about the 5/10 games being ridiculously nitty and without action. People have suggested that I play at Grand Victoria Casino or Rockford Charitable Games. Can anyone give their input on how good the action is?

Machine Gun Steve = the dealer who is a super tryhard and thinks he's better than he is so he deals way too fast and makes tons of mistakes, and who has an attitude when players take too long on an action.

I have never played in the 510 game but i heard the game is better at gvc. Rockford only has 2/5 but is a match stack game and can play huge with a straddle every hand. And there r some players(drunk Tom) waitting to give there money away. Potawatomi's to 5 is pretty good too with a Max thousand-dollar cap only runs usually on the weekends

Mix is 50-100, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. The Thursday 30-60 doesn't really run anymore. Mix will be dead though during the series as most players are out there.

Re: Horseshoe Hammond (Hammond, IN)

I won the random seat high-card drawing for the $1100 WSOP Main Event Satellite tonight. Has anyone played in the previous week's satellites? I'm looking for anyone that could give me an idea of the field, how many runners (typically), etc.

Thanks in advance

Re: Horseshoe Hammond (Hammond, IN)

IMO, there are too many 2/5 games and too much switching tables for anyone to really remember anyone. I think that there are maybe 4 players total that I have an opinion that really matters.
