Does anyone here use I-Pass on Skyway? I got mine yesterday and just noticed I have been charged $4.53 on my account for the Skyway toll, which makes it more expensive than cash toll ($4.50). How does that make any sense?

Weird... And that tollbooth has got to b the worst in the world. Always a broken lane with people reversing in traffic

There is a surcharge of 0.03 using ipass since it is not owned by the state or whatever.

Technically if you use a cashback card to replenish your ipass, you make 1.5 cents or more.

Also the time saved since the cash lanes are always so long.

Didn't see it mentioned here so I thought I'd post.

BBJ was hit in the room a few weeks ago. Total BBJ was around 130k 76hh vs QJhh on Th9h8h flop.

Table share was ~8k and it turns out one of the guys dealt in the hand had self-banned himself from the casino. Unfortunately for him, aside from not getting his $8k, he also got arrested for trespassing.

That's the real bad beat. I hope the 8k was spread out to the rest of the table.

I don't know the Chicago traffic situation.

We started short handed Wednesday afternoon. At 5 there were seats open. The game did fill up and had a waiting list eventually. Last Friday night there was a full table plus a full must move game.

They rolled the 8k into the next BBJ pool. I think it should have been distributed to the players at the table, but atleast the casino didn't just take it.

That doesn't make sense. How do they roll the 8k into the next pool? The pool automatically starts at $10k and rises by $10k every Monday. I don't see how the 8k will ever come into play, unless they tack an additional 8k onto the BBJ when it next hits?

20 mix rock garden was fun tonight (hello from seat 2) but i cant do wednesdays and fridays, that shuttle commute is brutal! here i was thinking the 2pm shuttle would be safe from traffic, i was wrong.

if mix ever gets kicking on the weekends you can count on me to show up prolly once a month.

(im sure the must move was 10x better than the main game)

I skimmed back a few pages, but didn't see anything. When does 5/10 or bigger plo run? People in Detroit talk about the crazy action here, but right now there is no plo and biggest nlh is 2/5. Will Wednesday evening have any plo?

Surprisingly no bigger PLO than 5/5 has consistently run for a while (they probably have run, just not regularly). As recent as a year ago 5/10 and 10/20 PLO were run at least once a week on Friday if not much more frequently, not sure what happened to the regular big games.

5/5 PLO ($400 - $2000) runs usually from Thursday - Friday, sometimes Saturday too.

1/2 PLO ($100 - $500) with a $5 bring-in, which plays bigger than 2/5 NLH, runs everyday.

5/10 NLH runs just about everyday and multiple tables on busier days.

Tuesday afternoon? Most of the rec players work... But, long term, I think we're starting to see the effects of the online poker ban. Fewer online players = fewer people practicing enough to think they have a shot at winning at bigger stakes live .

the dealers really need to crack down on the players adding chips to their stacks. i have seen way too many times players trying to over top their stacks.

How does the 3/6 Hold Em play? Is it loose or are other players mostly rocks? Passive or aggro? Or does it just depend on the night and the table? Thanks.

The biggest problem with 3/6 HE is....
it's 3/6. So, if you think you can get flopped middle pair to fold with 3 barrels of bluffing, you'd be mistaken. To answer your question, though, I've only ever seen aggro play at those stakes late at night when the table isn't full, and NLHE players decide to splash around while they wait for a seat.

disclaimer: I play 3/6 hold em once a year, on average. )

It'll be the usual crop of retired nits except during prime time on Friday and Saturday nights. Then you're more likely to run into at least a couple of spots having a few drinks and being loose-passive. Aggression is rare.

There'll only be about two tables even at the busiest times, and that small sample size means variance in table character can be pretty high week to week.

If you took the best player in the 1/2 PLO and forced them to only play 1/2 PLO for an entire year, what do you think their average yearly income is? Assuming they didn't run amazing or run terrible. #DumbHypotheticals

If you're winner being anti-anti going south doesn't make much sense. From what I've seen more people at that place want to buy in for less than the minimum than buy in for too much.

I hope you're not nitting over some guy pulling out a couple greens from his pocket when he loses $40 his first hand at the 1/2 table.
