Wait was 2-3 hours last year starting around 3-4pm. Noon - 2 pm if you want to not wait long.

The rate on the Holiday Inn site is $126, so huge savings! See you guys there thursday, glgl.
I live literally three blocks away. You'll be there in 30 min no sweat.

I HIGHLY recommend Aurelio's or Edwardo's pizza. They're right up there with Lou Malnati's imo.

I very much dislike beggars personally. We get it alllllll the time at work and I don't think it's very good.

Just my opinion though, please don't flame me lol.

Hey, I'm planning on playing one of the stimulus events at the Shoe, to get one of those added seats to the $1675 Main Event.... but, if I win one of those seats, will I get a choice to use it for Flight 1 (Friday) or Flight 2 (Saturday), or will I be forced to play on a certain day? Thanks in advance!

Are the structures for all events listed anywhere? I looked on the WSOP site and the Horseshoe Hammond site, and I've only been able to see structures/starting stacks for certain events.

I'm most interested in the $580 on Sunday October 26, and can't find that info anywhere. Can anyone direct me to where this info is listed?

Thanks

Unfortunately their FB page doesn't list all structures. It only listed 7-8 events, mostly sats, which don't interest me. I'm trying to find someone who can post the $580 on Sunday october 26th...

Seems like it should be simple, but I couldn't find it on their FB, their website or WSOP.com.

All structures are posted on Facebook. Scan through the pictures. Did you go to Horseshoe Chicago Poker Room? The structure your looking for was posted Oct 4th. My phone won't allow me to post the schedule.

Hey everyone,

I'm looking for a place to stay for this event and I've read a few of the suggestions. I'm thinking either the Ramada close by or the Holiday Inn that is a little farther away. My question is are both of the areas that these hotels are located in safe areas? I've heard Hammond is pretty rough and safety going to and from the casino is a concern.

Thanks in advance for the responses. GL to everyone playing the events!

Honestly being from this area all my life.... The Courtyard off Kennedy Avenue if your looking for something closer is real nice for the price... or if you want to go further down and want something that's really nice THE RADISSON in Merrilville right off I65... and Route 30. Its pricier but you really get what you pay for.

First off, I'm not trying to hijack a Horseshoe thread to promote another casino BUT - I'm a girl and I've been playing at the Horseshoe but staying at the Ameristar because safety IS a concern. I go to a lot of events/games solo and being female with cash on me is nerve racking at times. I think casino hotels offer better security because they have to and the fact that I can get half off the room rate from their poker room is a nice benefit. Cab is cheap and not too far away. I just couldn't see staying in Hammond...

I've heard tell the CPC schedule is out...if someone gets the chance to post it I would be grateful as I'm sure would many others.

With the HORSE tournament on Monday at 5:00, we should try to get a nice mid-level HORSE (or other mix) cash game running Monday afternoon (maybe start at 1:00?).

I'd play after work. Would probably get there ~7:30pm.
