When they comp you 75 cents an hour and then raise the price of a chicken salad sandwich to $7.25, what else really needs to be said?
Did the comp drop to .75 cents?

LDO, when they startd the new comp system where the comp goes directly to the player's card. The old system you got a paper comp and I am pretty sure it was a dollar an hour.

Are they at least going to count your hours as Harrah's "Base Points" for tier status?

I dunno, I kinda like the fact that I can pick out the fish at a table when he shows a silver card etc.

I would like to tell you exactly what to do with your one word replies but the last time I freely expressed my opinionin a similar situation, I received my first set of infraction points.

This thread is about Horseshoe Hammond. You didn't reference Horseshoe Southern Indiana in your post about the comp. And nowhere in the thread leading up to your post was Southern Indiana mentioned. The event Sunglasses was referring to was the $300 + 45 event at the WSOP circuit event.

Also, all of your posts are pissy and reak of arrogance. You are the troll. Now gfy gtfo.

I played at the shoe for the 1st time yesterday at 10-20 LHE and the only skilled player I saw all night was this asian guy Simon, he seemed to stay out of my way, but I noticed he isolated a little light (IMO) and played a little to far against predictable players-any opinions on his play.

As opposed to your brilliant one word replies? My post was in the middle of a small train wreck where the subject changed to Harrah's being cheap. No I didn't reference HCSI because I figured all but the clueless would realize it was a tangent.

Jeremy

There is a thread on this Brick and Mortar forum right now about tipping, but I would like to know specifically if floor people at Harrah's, Hammond are allowed to take tips. Of course, I tip the chips runners. Other than that I'm not sure. At another Indiana casino I wanted to tip a floor person who really worked hard and did a good job. I asked if she was allowed to take tips and was told "No, they were not allowed to take tips."

What is the tipping policy? Can't find anything written on this!

When I made a straight flush during the promotion I tipped the floor person. He spent an hour between paper work and waiting at the cage. I have always felt the floor personal have always done an outstanding job. So I also feel there should be some way to tip them.

You guys are talking about two different simons. The pudgy version is the one most likely to be found in the 10-20. The skinnier version with the fancy duds and manicure is a strong 20-40 & up player.

I don't know if tipping floor people is allowed or isn't, but if it is, there can be nothing good come of it for the players. What can it accomplish, except possible preferred treatment? Even if there were no preferred treatment, that would still be the assumption by someone getting the short-end of a floor decision. I hope the floor people make a handsome wage, but not in this manner.

Not much. Harrah's is bad at promotions. Do we need better examples than the Monday morning splash pots, or $5150 seats to $3-$6 limit players?? As most of us know, Harrah's "promotions" promote only their own business, at our expense, and are in fact not promotions at all.

If you're not satisfied with the $1 per hour - and who can be, considering the cost of their food - tell MANAGEMENT, not the few who visit here, that you would prefer enough on your card to eat with, over any and all promotions (and yes, I already have). If they hear it often enough, who knows?.

No in fact we are not-you think I'd pose a question and try to get lines on a run of the mill 10-20 player. Did you see how deep the 20-40 list was on friday? Finally they opened a shorthanded 40/80 which seemed odd considering the 20-40 list.

Quick Q-

So I said something on my way out that offended a dude (not hard to do, he was about 5'2" with a very strong chicago 'tough guy' accent, and had a horrible case of short man's disease) and he challenged me to a HU match. He's terrible imo, and I'd gladly play him HU, how would I arrange this? Say a 5k freezeout or something.

This female dealer I have seen at final tables for years was in the cardroom on Friday which I thought was cool-chatted briefly with her. She was also in the movie Lucky You. She must have been there for the circuit event.

does any1 who play there regularly wanna meet up with me at the bar next to the computer tables?

I'd like to discuss about other games around the city/burbs and also if i can be backed for the 40/80 game there. Im friends with several regulars that know me that can vouch that im a highly skilled limit player. I know i have a huge edge in experience and skill over 90% of the 40/80 players.
