Confirmed there will be no rake increase, however there will be a new rule next year stating that if you rack up from a game, you must wait 2 hours before playing the same again instead on 1. Apparently players were whining about people winning big pots and then cycling back through feeder games. Imo this rule is stupid and will not stop people from racking up. It'll just make them go home instead of waiting.

Very stupid. An hour is enough everywhere else in the world

Have not noticed this.

I've employed the one hour thing before when I wanted to switch from the main to the feeder, but don't mind changing it to two hours. Mostly regs taking advantage if it.

Maybe he scored some tickets to that important NFL game in Chicago. Whole game changed when a rookie goes into a 4 point stance after holding a 3 point stance for a good 10 seconds and wipes out a pick-6! (14 point swing) GL

My favorite Horseshoe plates are specialty State Senate plates on the ground floor of the garage.

One more month for free Diamond Lounge, until Feb 1st.

They are doing the promo for more comp dollars during cold weather if you swipe in at the kiosk. I got a "15x multiplier" which I believe translates to 150% more comp dollars.

On I've used before is the Ryan to the Ford, exit at 103rd (?) and go from there. It's a lot slower but toll-free. More generally, use Google Maps, tap Route Options, and check Avoid Tolls, and it'll find you something.

depending on where exactly you're coming from you can just hop over on Lake Shore and take it down past/through South Shore and over the railroad tracks. That is usually the way I go if I'm going to avoid the Skyway

Was at the shoe on Saturday afternoon for a quick session. It had been almost a year since my last trip and have made some changes. The food options on the floor looked very clean and fit in well. It was odd seeing arcade games on the floor right outside of the poker room on the left past the bar. Driving in from the GVC area to get away from the $7+$1 rake is a mute point with the increase in tolls. I ended up at the Popeyes chicken just down the street from the shoe. Have never seen such a ghetto place with bullet proof glass between the counter and employees. Having to talk into a microphone and have your food served through a revolving door through the glass.

Anyone else get the opportunity to sit next to a reg drinking Canadian Club who said he lost 29k playing the 1-2 PLO game saying “everything I got came from a lick?”

i put in sessions here last friday and tuesday, which were my first sessions in over a year and a half. it looks like the 1/2 games are still just as good as they always have been, and the addition of the food court area on the main floor is really nice. haven't been able to try out the food yet because i didn't have enough in comp dollars
