The rake situation is still being reviewed. It looks like we will be going to a time drop for 5-10 NL and looking at the 10-20 and 20-40 HO rake schedule.

Rake appears to be 10% to $5.50 plus a buck for BBJ?

Yes, on 1-3NL. 3-6FL is $4.50+1. I think 6-12 O8 is $5.50 with no BBJ drop, but I could be wrong.

Love this room...though it is the only room in town. Have made a lot of improvements over the years. We used to be stuck with 3-6 limit. Then we had 1-2 limit with $200 max buy in, then 1-3 with $300 max, and now you can buy in for 75% of the biggest stack, which brings a lot more money into play.

On Saturday Nov 24th @10am is the $235 Fat Stack, 10,000 chips and 40 min levels. Usually 90+ players. On Sunday Nov 25 there is a $45 NL @ 10am and 2pm. 3,500 chips and 20 min levels. The 10am usually has 100+ players and the 2pm around 80+.

Andy1978,
Thanks for spreading this game, looking forward to playing it. What time will you post the table on Bravo? I want to make sure I am on the list when the game starts?

Thanks,
Xandit

Andy-

Where can I find details on the Holiday Poker Classic? I don't see anything on the website as of yet. Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

It should be on the website soon. Still waiting Iowa Gaming approval. The plan now is to have a $235 Re-Entry NLH with Flight A on Dec 26th and Flight B on Dec 27th. Day 2 will be Dec 28. We will have a $130 satellite on Dec 28th. We will have a $560 Re-Entry NLH on Dec 29th with Flight A at 10am and Flight B at 6pm. Day 2 will be Dec 30.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

The 10-20 Limit Hold'em with a 5% and $4 Max rake was great on Saturday. Horseshoe had 2 games by 11:30am.

Due to the feedback from the players, Horseshoe will spread the 10-20 Hold'em every Wednesday and Saturday! It will always be a $4 max!

Andy,

Is the 10/20 LHE 5%/$4 max game on Wednesdays and Fridays still happening regularly?

Do you anticipate this game will still run on Day 1 of the HHPC? (Saturday, Dec 29th)

Thanks!

The 10-20 limit hold'em is running every Saturday. It usually starts between 9-10am. It still should run on Dec 29. A few players might play the tournament first, then play 10-20 later, but I dont see why that would stop it from starting early!

Thanks for the quick reply!

Any idea if there is a special poker room rate on hotels or any other hotel specials? I am around 3 hours away and want to get a good deal on a room for a night or two.

We are working on getting a 20% off poker player rate during Dec 26-30. If that does not go through you can always call with your Total Rewards number and usually get a good deal.

So why do you rake 2/5 @ $6 max then? That is horrible...I get u have no competition but dont rip players off. Just bring it down to $4 max all the time for everyone.

Has there been any discussion as to bringing back the BB jackpot, or lowering the rakes? Also, I've noticed some people who were "Perma-banned" seem to be roaming around causing disturbances again. Just last time I played (2/5NL) I was threatened by one of them for re-raising with AK...

The plan is to have the bad beat back on Feb 1, 2013.

In addition to the $4 max on the 10-20 hold'em and larger, we are looking into changing the rake on the NL games as well.

If you have any disturbances from players let me know and I will handle it.

Thanks

$4 + 1 for bbj with $4 for non bbj games or do 5% up to 5

if every other poker room in the country can do this I don't see why this room can't
