I am with Iuomo on this one. The noodle bar is also solid, but Johnny Sanchez is a treat.

Good selection of well-composed tacos. A bit on the high side but that is true of all the 'Shoe restaurant options.

lol.. everything is ~50% more expensive to make up for comps.
and that basically makes comps worth less.

then again, we're not doing that bad with the $3/hr comp rate vs table/slot players.

oh.. also got a postcard saying the 4x comp multiplier promo has been extended to Jan.

I don't think I've been to casino where prices weren't marked up on items you can use comps for. Pretty standard across the industry.

Bravo lists December promos.

Mondays: Quads bonus pay. $100 for first quad, all the way to $1300 for the last one. Each quad only once. It says quads that don't hit rollover to the next week, but don't know how that works.

Tuesday - Thursday high hands like in previous months. 700 high hand per half with 300 splash on Tuesday, 500 high hand per 20 min Wednesdays, 500 high hand per half Thursdays.

I might play some poker now.

I don't understand the quads promo? so $100 to the first person who hits them and $200 for the second person and so on?

or $100 for quad 2s $200 for quad 3's, etc...

What happens if 13 people hit quads does the 14th person not get paid?

Sounds like it's $100 for 1st quads, $200 for 2nd, etc... but you can't repeat the same rank. So, someone gets quad 5's, $100. Someone else gets quad 2's, $200. Someone else gets quad 5's, nothing (because 5's already hit).

Yeah, I've had honestly bad experiences at almost every other place, except Sanchez's and Guy's restaurant.
I've had each of their tacos, well worth the price imo compared to other casino prices I've seen, but that's where the happy hour is clutch. With comps it's actually crazy cheap. You get to pick from 3 different tacos, guac is also a special during happy hour and is great. Once I found happy hour I pretty much only ate in the casino during those times. It has been a few months since I've been there, but I imagine the specials are still the same!

I didn't know how to quote two posts, think I should've quoted this though with my above reply.

They called my table for a splash pot tonight. After about 10 minutes and no splash pot, we asked the floor where our splash pot was. He said it wasn't our table. He showed me the paper where he writes down the table number and it wasn't our table. Every single person at our table (including the dealer) CLEARLY heard our table number called. I'm pretty sure he wrote the table number down wrong.

Oh well - nothing can be done about it now. But if they are going to have table numbers be drawn for some promotion, it should appear on the high hand screen, to avoid any confusion or impropriety.

Nice to finally see the room filling up during Promo's. Always love the high hands, especially today every 20 min. Curious to see how the quad thing goes next monday, seems like a very weird promo to me.

I thought the table with the high hand is the one that gets the splash pot. Do they just draw a totally random table for splash pot, irrelevant to who won the high hand?

IIRC it os a random table for the splash pot, though haven't been there for this promo

The table with the high hand gets one and two other random tables.

Got my Rewards credit statement for Nov and it doesn't add up.
I (along w/a lot of people) got a 4x multiplier for Nov.

it says I earned 7500 RC points from games. (I rounded for math simplicity.)
I only played poker and comps = $3/hr at poker thus $75/3 = 25hrs.

the multiplier supposedly multiplies the TIER credits earned and adds it to reward credits.
you earn 50tc per hr at poker thus 25hrs x 50 tier credits = 1250 points.
4 x 1250 = 5000 = $50
but my statement said promotions = 2800, which is $28.

not going to argue over $22 in comps since I earn more than I can spend. (I have a couple of hundred $ comps in my acct and climbing.)
I keep track because of the ocd in me.

just curious if anyone else not getting the correct multiplied comps?

I don't pay attention to the statements... Track them yourself on a slot machine and keep in mind the promo RCs usually lag by 24-48 hours. So far, no issues.

It's possible that if you played on the 29th and 30th, those promo RCs didn't hit your account until 12/1 or 12/2.

They admitted a RC mistake and just sent out revised Nov statements.

This is a bit off-topic from all the promo/comp discussion, but is anyone else bothered by the fact that e-cigs are allowed in this poker room? This study came out today from Harvard that the chemical flavorings lead to lung disease. I noticed it on the front page of reddit.

I know it's not as bad as regular cigarette smoke, but why should us non-smokers be subjected to e-cig vapor in the poker room? Some people just blow that stuff right in people's faces thinking it's harmless. Seems that's not the case.

If Anthony (poker room manager) reads this thread, please reconsider your policy.

Get as many other players who feel the way you do and talk to him directly. Or the Casino manager.

Maybe write a letter to Corporate. On paper, not email. Have others sign it. Maybe with your player's card numbers so they know you are an actual patron and not some anti-ecig crusader who never stepped foot in their casino.

Any time a player rudely blows the vapor in your face, call the Floor. Make a scene.

Stand up for yourself.
