how much freeplay were you getting for earning 1000 tier credits per day?

32k? if you got up to the 40k TC mark to get 'medium' Diamond:
On top of any offers or comps you receive based on your play, unlock a complimentary four-night stay at any Total Rewards destination plus $100 folio credit.

His friend had told him it was Hold'em (which is what the Bravo app says is a featured Specialty Game). Once he learned it was HORSE, he walked back to the cage, cashed out, and left.

As mentioned earlier, it would be nice if there was some consistency. At the least, the Bravo app should be updated to include accurate information.
Yeah that was a real shame. They should definitely update the bravo to indicate that the featured specialty game is a mixed game.

The real problem with not having holdem is that most people only know holdem . The problem with having holdem and not having more stud / Omaha games is that md live dealers hate playing limit holdem (ironically, it seems they hate dealing non-flop games but hate playing holdem).

Md live employees are what make this game so any solution MUST keep them happy. I think as long as anyone at the table wants a holdem round, everyone should go along. It really does go fast and if people who are weak at the other games will play bc of holdem ... Well, that's kinda the point.

I wasn't getting much free play at all. I was hitting the 1,000's at Harrah's AC, and just got the "mystery bonus" freeplay when I swipped in at the kiosls, which was anywere from like $12 to $70 or so. But, turns out, I was not getting any "offers" from harrah's because the license they had on file was expired. I actually went to the rewards desk at the Shoe two months ago to ask why the f*ck I never got invited to the promos there (despite being diamond) and found out that, if your license on file with them is expired, they do not send you offers. Sure enough, they updated and within a week, I started getting offers . . . Prolly lost thousands in free play over the past 4 or 5 years . . . Should have spoken up sooner . . .

As for the 40,000 level . . . True . . . but 8,000 tier points is still a lot. Wasn't going t donk VP just to hit the next "aspiration" level or whatever it is . . .

Anyone here play majority 1/3 at the Shoe? Or are most people 2/5+ or limit?

Curious to possibly discuss general room dynamics and build up my knowledge of room regulars if anyone is interested.

(I play about 10-20 hours a week)
You can always PM if interested.

I also left $200 in the craps machine by mistake, and it was gone when I remembered it, so the trip was a bust on several dimensions.
so $5000 coin in on got you 250 TC on the 2nd trip?
$5000/250 = $20 coin-in per TC

today I got something weird.

$15 passline.
1st roll = 3. 2nd roll = 7. noticed I got 1.5 TC.
3rd roll = 9. I maxxed odds. 4th roll = 9, I win.
I now have 1.7 TC?! (The TC bar only moved a little.)

if it's $20 coin-in per TC (odds don't count), then my first two $15 passline bets = $30 coin-in = 1.5 TC = confirmation that it's $20 coin-in = 1tc.

but hitting the point only getting me .2TC is a

I cashed out.

So is the mix game HORSE or ORSE usually? Just wondering if they put in the
real crazy games like Baducey, etc.

On my 2nd trip the TC comping on the e-craps machine was completely screwed up. It is supposed to be 1 TC/$20 coin-in (and odds bets don't count).
And this is what it showed on the "Session Tier Credits" while I was playing both times.

But the first day I played, it actually gave me twice as many tier credits as it showed on "Session Tier Credits". Played about $5k coin-in for 500 TCs (plus got ~500 TCs from poker). This is a bargain at 1.4% house edge, considering the potential TC bonuses.
The second day I played, it gave me a lot less. I put over $3000 coin-in and it showed >150 "Session Tier Credits", but it only actually gave me 67 TCs.

I quit playing when I noticed this, and complained to the Total Rewards desk, and they actually responded fairly well. They got about six or seven different people involved looking at the record of every bet on the machines I was playing and had a couple of the supervisors also look at the records in whatever backroom stores that stuff. One of the slot technicians mentioned they recently "fixed" the machine because it had been over-comping. After about 45 minutes, they determined I actually should have gotten 152 TC, and manually added this to my account. But I didn't go back to the machine after this because it was such a hassle. And I may have gotten screwed out of the "return reward" slot dollars I got from the first visit because I "officially" missed the 75 TC threshold. I have no idea if they actually fixed whatever the issue was.

I'm surprised you actually complained when you shorted ~90 TCs, when in your prior session you received an extra 250. I would've just sucked it up, out of concern that they'd review the prior session as well (i.e. you're still "ahead" on their error. That was ballsy of you).

Casinos are always screwing up how they comp those machines. Several years ago Foxwoods had one, but they accidentally counted odds as part of coin-in. It was +EV just on RCs alone, let alone all the perks from the highest tier card which you actually made money while earning. Could just bet the doey-don't with full odds, and in 1 hour you can get 60 points for $40 (points=$). They got rid of the machine after the 6 month lease was up, with the last 2 months being "out of service".

It is alMost always a subset of Horse, with HOE the most usual variant.

The lottery commission hasn't approved draw games or the goofy games as far as I know. I've never seen any game that isn't a flop or stud game in any Maryland casino.

I thought Mike said they had over at the other place, but couldn't find evidence of it. However, 5-card draw is apparently ready and waiting!

OK Attn all pink chip lovers:

I think we're going to try to get this game going on Friday nights also, if there is interest. I know CPSusie and a couple others I talked to this week are in. I can be there pretty much whenever and I will start short. I prefer R and E, but will play OE, HOE, HORE, HORSE, or pretty much whatever people would like in order to get the game going.

I can't be there this weekend (i.e. 16th), but I will get there on the 23rd and try to start a list.

Let's get weekend pink chip action going!

I would definitely like to play on the 23rd. I prefer HOE, but am flexible.

I'll be there. I prefer whatever makes me have to play the least amount of Omaha so ... as many stud games as possible. Ho => me no play. Otherwise...( HRSE = Triple Stud) > Horse > HOSE > HORE > Hoe > oe > just holdem.

Top prize $250,000 gtd + WSOP Main Event (I THINK he said it was a package as in travel and such...)
Final 9 players all get paid entry to WSOP main event (but not travel packages if I heard correctly)
Also Anthony came around the table and said anyone who plays in EVERY flight (not rebuys 18 times, plays EACH flight) will get 1/2 their money back (ish) in the form of a buy in to a $1,700 event.
Anyone hear anything else about this?

So after calling and trying to get a room for a few nights I learned the have no rooms at the casino. I was told i could get some free nights at Sheraton or Regancy which were closest hotels ~ 1.5 miles away. After google it seems there are hotels much closer (idk maybe the were booked up)

Either way anyone have any suggestions about these. Which one is better? Is it safe to walk at night? Are there shuttles that come often?

First for me too. That was a really fun game with a ton of action. It ran for awhile too. I played for at least 10 hours and the game was still going strong when I left.

I don't know anything about those hotels but I did read somewhere there are shuttles but in reality a taxi/uber is going to cost you like 4-7 bucks.

I usually have friends and family stay at a little bed and breakfast which is super nice (free really good breakfast) and about a 5 dollar cab ride to the horseshoe. It's usually the same price as the local hotels (99% of the time cheaper especially if there's a conference in town).

If you're getting free rooms I'd do that but if you aren't or don't mind spending like 125 on a room I'd stay there. There's also a lot more to do in federal hill than downtown.

The only 2 hotels associated with the casino are Sheraton and Regency - that's why he was able to get some comped nights there.

+1 Scarborough Fair is great. Downtown dies after 5:00 though not as bad as it did 10 years ago.
