Overlay for the 11:00 am today, or will they get 50+ runners?

What "tonight's tournament"? Last I looked the Shoe wasn't catering to evening players.

They don't. I'm just continuing my complaints with regard to the tournament options the Horseshoe is offering. Pretty uninspiring IMHO

OHH so you meant tonight's tournament AT THE OTHER casino...

I'm with you - stupid of the Shoe not to have an evening offering. They're not giving Live regs much reason to come there.

I have 25 dollars worth of free slot play for 4 days in October. I swipe my rewards card at a kiosk and receive a free voucher. Best way to utilize this? I'm assuming inserting the voucher and immediately cashing out is not an option

You will have to play through the $25 one time, but if you play a bit and then hit cash out, you can see how much you have in actual cash..at least thats how it is at my Horseshoe(this is a fairly recent change afaik because you used to have to select how much to play on a machine whether it was five or ten bucks or whatever... there should be a little sticker on every slot that indicates this.

I see. I want to play the guy who said go South of Baltimore in poker. He is interesting.

and yes, pay the toll, and get there fresh. The extra miles/time on 40 are probably almost $4 in gas.

60 runners for the first tourn on Wed. Interesting features:

They paid 9 instead of 6; the payouts are less top-heavy than Live

For $120 buy-in, $100 went to prize pool, as opposed to $92 at Live

The multi-level turbo is a fun, quick, format that turns into real poker after 2 hours.

I have a guess that the specs are badly written and forced them to pay top 9 (something that will be changed and is already in the process of being changed if my hunch is right).

Because if that's normal, that's horrible because it means most players who cash micro-cash and it's not even worth it unless you finish really high.

The other way is to take 40 all the way in to Green Street and turn left. I would have no idea how fast this last set of directions would take. Although, google can probably give you and idea if you get it to go that way. You would get on to 40 from 95 South as you approach the city. Taking 40 is the most direct way. On a non traffic day, maybe it is better than I 83, who knows?

you could even get off 83 on fayette and cut across to mlk to russell street!!. the more you know..

So there's a rakeback promotion Oct 15th to Nov 15th. Any guaranteed money is great, however, Baltimore's promotion pales in comparison to the promotion in Philly http://www.harrahsphilly.com/content...-2014-7-21.pdf

rake back, interesting, they are feeling it, but can't get the upper management to set a normal rake just yet.

Set the rake correctly and they will come and play.

No it won't. Changing the rake will have no discernible effect on the traffic of the room. LOL if you think the drunk Orioles fans stumbling into the room have any idea what the rake structure is. And besides, with no flop, no drop, how much are you really losing?

I'm going to hit Diamond in a day or two. Took me a little over a month. How does the 100 dollar celebratory dinner work? Are the comp dollars added to your account, and you use them as you please, or are you given a voucher that must be used in one installment?

I was able to get back 10 bucks off the 25. I just mashed the max bet button. It was my first time playing slots, is there any strategy involved?

It works fine. the machine prints you a voucher in AC. I suspect it is the same in MD. Then you use it or lose it in a year all at one time.

Fridays and Saturdays
5PM - 9PM

You asked for it, we listened. In October, Seven Stars® and Diamond Members can now enjoy food in the Diamond Lounge.

I usually play penny slots because I can bet 30-40¢ a pull and it gives me a little play and I think they are more fun....bottom line is I am cheap lol. But seriously, with my 20 or so freeplay, I almost always win at least something this way...nothing more than 20 most times, but I have got the occasional 50 which is not bad for 40¢. I look for machines with free spins too..I don't care for the ones where you have to pick and choose to win.

Play video poker Jacks or better, if you know the basic strategies. Most payouts I've seen are horrible though. I've seen 6-5 and 7-5 payouts (full house-flush payout), which is just robbery if you ask me. I did see $1 8-5, which isn't terrible. Variance is high though, since you should be max betting.
