Baltimore’s Horseshoe Casino continues to see a decline in gaming revenue, generating $24.9 million in March 2018. That’s down nearly 8 percent from March of last year.
(All other md casinos were up.)
i was just there this weekend to pick up my annual diamond gift.
i usually take free slot play instead.
but this year, they gave Reward credits instead.
to convert RC to freeplay, it's 1/2 the amount.
ie: $40 RC = $20 free slot play
it seems like an Avalanche effect.
Horseshoe's revenue's decline so they make games worse and cut back on comps to maintain profit levels.
players see this and jump ship to other casinos, which leads to lower revenues, which leads to the casino further making the games worse and lessening the comps.
which leads to more and more players jumping ship to their competition (or stop gambling altogether and spend their entertainment $$$ on something else).
and if you look on Bravo, CharlesTown sometimes has more tables going then Horseshoe.
