I don't know what they will do, but I am expecting them to do something in order to compete for our business.
I'm really not expecting them to do anything to compete for business. I feel like the casino treats the poker room as something they have to have, rather than a valuable part of the casino.

I really liked playing there, as I think the room is really nice from a physical standpoint, 80% of the dealers were good, there were some crazy bad players, and the comps were great.

Unfortunately it is run so poorly, between the horrible floor people, the unwillingness to staff properly, and the lost comps that I don't think it can compete as it is currently run, and I don't think Horseshoe values it enough to change that.

I know you're pretty good at finding this sort of information and you seem interested in it too, so any chance you could give us that percentage for November 2014 and 2015 to see the trend?

If this follows the standard for this kind of promo then:
1) You gain entries based on time in the room;
2) You must be in the room to win

Meaning it's a promo for regs, right?

Food prices went up... At least at Ruby 8. Sushi went up about $2 a roll, and a side of rice is now $5 lol... I'd love to know the profit margin on that.

Yea it is definitely expensive. I will give them credit on quality though -- it is very good sushi.

So sad. So much unrealized potential (albeit historically).

Horseshoe had 1-2 regular PLO (not 5-card) running last Friday, which was good to see and good to play in. I don't care if it is 2-2; its just good to see regular PLO running; hope it happens more often.

How is the action these days? I noticed that Maryland Live is infested wth nit regs (even on weekends). I might be jumping ship to the Horseshoe in the next few weeks.

They arrested the shooter. I guess there were arguments inside, and then they met in the garage. Always be aware of your surroundings everyone.
