Edit...bravo is glitching.

Depends on play, but Horseshoe doesn't have a showroom. My gf and I are just platinum but get free show offers for Harrahs, et al in Atlantic City and Philly, occasionally Vegas.

From the South
Take I295 North to the front door

there's a ramp directly to the casino?
and no tunnel toll?

OR...take 95 North to exit 52 Russel Avenue. When exiting the ramp, stay to the right and turn Right past the second light into the parking garage entrance. Valet is to the left, self-park straight ahead. Poker room parking is best accessible from the 3rd floor garage. No tunnel tolls from the south, the last exit before toll is exit 55, so you're safe.

Once 295 stops being an expressway in the city, it's about three lights in on the right. Can't miss it.

Do you play in those rooms as well? I only play in Baltimore, but I wouldn't turn down an offer to see a show in Philly or A.C

Poker-no,I mostly play tournaments, when in AC usually the Borg, she plays slots and I will a little, if we are staying at a CET property. we have Platinum from the credit card.

you'll just have to see what offers come your way, we have been getting offers for comped tickets and a room for the Thursday concerts at Harrah's.

make sure you are signed up for e-mail offers and check the TR website for your offers.

It's not I295, it's MD 295. And it stops being an expressway 2 blocks from the casino:

(MD 295 becomes I295 when it enters DC, and the other end is in VA)

Anyone know what kind of food is served in the Diamond Lounge?
And when? (only during dinner times? 24/7?)

Feel free to copy the FAQ, update it, and PM it to one of us to be appended to the first post.

Currently, there is no food. Basically, just decent discounts on drinks . . . The lounge was basically empty first week or so. Went again Saturday, and there were a few folks at the bar . . . basically because there was no one out the door checking for diamond cards . . . . (i.e., anyone could enter).

Made my first visit last night after the O's game. Floor staff was definitely friendly, the 2-3 dealers I had very competent and friendly as well. First buy-in allowed at the table which was nice, although since only a few tables going there wouldn't have been much delay at the window.

I do have to say that the spacing between tables is awesome; I guess I didn't realize how very cramped MDL is, but that could have to do with it's always crowded when I'm there. Bright, open, and enjoyable was my general takeaway. (Along with a few hundred $$ by getting really lucky at the right time.)

As for the rest of the casino, pretty impressive as well. I didn't make it to the first floor, but the 2-floor bar cut-out where bands would play seems like a great idea to get a party vibe going.

Parking garage bright and open... absolutely no concern on security, maybe even less so than MDL. I live down Columbia way, and was surprised to find that I made it home in nearly identical time as a MDL trip... driving around that mall for 5 minutes (and waiting at multiple lights) makes up for the extra few miles, as departing the Horseshoe you're on I-95 in about 60 seconds.

For the electronic Craps machine outside the poker room, how much coin-in does it take to get 1 point on the Total Rewards card?

It's nice to see that the Horseshoe is offering tournaments starting in October. I am disappointed that they are not offering any non-holdem tournaments. I really enjoyed the non-holdem tournaments that Delaware Park held on Saturday afternoons with a $65 buy in and I think non-holdem tournaments with a low buy in would bring in lots of players during the week and fill a lot of empty tables.

Frankly I think the Shoe's tournament schedule is a mistake from the outset.

The weekday DAYTIME tournaments are in the same price range as Live's evening tournaments and offer no better guarantees, just the same or less.

The Sunday is cheaper, but not even 1/3, and offers half the guarantee.

During the week, workers who have day jobs will have no reason to go to the Shoe when they can go to Live AFTER work, and I doubt Sunday will make much difference.

Players who want less expensive tournaments would have come to the Shoe for them, I think. Now we're still driving to Perryville or Delaware.

I was really looking forward to the Horseshoe Casino poker room to open up. Competition for the poker dollars in the region would be good. Between the rake in the cash games and the tournaments being offered in October, I have no reason to go to this casino. I think they blew a really good opportunity to offer an alternative to Maryland Live. Hopefully they will learn over the new few months.

The Horseshoes poker room just doesn't seem to want to compete. I feel like they have the mentality that they are they only game in town. They have done nothing to set themselves apart from the competition.

I'm not a huge tournament player, but the October schedule looked so boring to me. It does nothing to get lower limit players out to the casino.

I wanted to like the Horseshoe so badly, since I am a fan of most Ceasers propertys but no dice so far.

I guess Horseshoe's Bravo is down. I'm headed there for the first time in a couple of hours. Can anyone give an update to what games (and how many) are currently running? TIA
