They probably didn't have runners.... I have major issues with some of the Customer service workers there.

I think I overheard them saying that they stopped bringing food runners to the room.

Probably .... it's been a couple weeks since I've been there. They can't get them to show up for work much less the room. SMH

So now we have no food runners at the shoe but generally better food options, vs food runners at Live who now only bring you the worst food available - stuff made in a microwave upstairs and left to sit for 40 minutes before being delivered.

Wondering if Sunday is a good bet during/after the local football game? Problem being parking of course... anyone know if they will still validate for playing N hours on gameday?

I played on Sunday evening after a Ravens game on September 17th (was visiting from Boston to Camden Yards to watch Sox O's game). Room was dead. Perhaps others have had a more recent positive experience. GL.

He is now set up, but this is something he won't be able to do as a non-advertising rep. Any questions about bonuses and promotions should be sent to Victor directly via PM.

Worst run poker room ever, anyone can deal maybe get 10 hands a down with most dealers, cocktail service is horrible. No cage carrying 1k plus chips too main cage which most of the time their service is horrible as well gets a lot of attention from people in the main casino. Promotions are bad to ok. Floors make extremely horrible decisions for game breaking balancing tables, and rulings. Dealers are cocky like they are the greatest and can't get a hand out. Maybe 6 good dealers in the place. Very unprofessional.

In Oct 2017, Horseshoe unions first contract took effect.

the UAW represents table games, poker room and dual-rate dealers.
The 570 table games dealers are getting at least a 10 percent increase in hourly pay.
$6.30/hr is now the avg.

Under the contract, employees will move
from a health plan requiring deductibles
ranging from $1,350 to $3,300 a year to a plan that requires no deductible and has lower out- of-pocket costs.

To the extent permitted by business and
staffing needs, the casino agreed that jobs
should be full-time.

hm.. sounds like Horseshoe is doing well to offer all those employee upgrades, despite MGM opening?

when does the md gaming commission release 4th quarter revenue results?
curious to see numbers a full year after mgm opened.

It is not good for the game of poker when promotions are based on the number of hours that people play. Pots are smaller and action is absent. Everyone is just punching the time card.

Either the Nov hours promo or (more likely) the new bad beat structure where it's 100% of the fund... was about $70-80k when it hit (Aces full of fives was the qualifying hand)

I'm kinda surprised the bad beat didn't get nullified. It was hit at a 3/6 limit game full of players letting each other know they were not raising one another and they would play every single bbj eligible hand...which explains why the pot hardly had $20 in it.

Glad to know horseshoe is caring about the best interests of the players.

Hello. First, I would like to apologize for taking so long to become active in this forum. I have had some obstacles preventing me from making this a regular practice, however, I will be much more active in this forum going forward.

Next, I would like to clarify this situation as well as address the concerns of the integrity of the Bad Beat and other Promotions. After review of the previous Bad Beat, there were no indications of collusion. However, during that time, players did bring it to my attention that they believed certain tables may have been colluding. Since then I have been aggressively communicating to my staff what the repercussions to any player or dealer that is believed to be involved in any form of collusion would be. To clarify this here, any player or dealer believed to be involved in any form of collusion in our Poker Room will be fully investigated and reported to the Maryland Lottery. If collusion is discovered, the maximum penalty will be imposed. If anyone has any additional questions regarding this or any other matter, I always invite you to email me directly at vleone@caesars.com.

Agreed 100000%

It’s the same regs sitting there falling asleep at the tables, smelling foul from not showering, and not bringing any action to the room just punching the time card like you said

Thanks for your participation on the forums! We appreciate it.

What is the maximum penalty for collusion?
