Bravo is your friend. They are all listed right on the front page. Plus you can link to the poker room page via link there as well.

Sadly upper management (ie: higher than the room) seems determined to make the room as undesirable to play in as possible.

Hello,

My name is Victor Leone, the Poker Room Manager for Horseshoe Baltimore. I was hoping that someone could assist me with the proper steps in order to post as the official room manager. I attempted to PM a Moderator and did not have the ability to do so. If someone could reach out to me, that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Victor Leone

Hi, Victor. I'll pm the moderator and ask for their help in this. It is always a pleasure to have poker room management taking part in these forums.

Thank you for posting.

Lee

Good to see the manager posting here. I live very close to the shoe and would love to play there more, but 99% of the time I'd rather make the 15 minute drive to Live. Fingers crossed that the room turns around a bit.

Baltimore's Shoe has been woefully under-represented for far too long here. I hope this is the sign that changes are coming to revive this room!

Don't know if he has the ability and permissions yet, but when he does....Victor, can you list your promotions for October? Thanks!

Victor... you and I have talked before about many things but Im sure over the next couple of weeks you will see how much we the people love the Shoe's Poker room but choose to drive past there to go to Live. I hope also that Management can See that the Shoe Poker room could be one of the best on the east Coast.

Played there for for the first time on 2 nights. Not impressed: no cashier in the cage in the poker room, go to main casino to cash out & stand in a short line but have a long wait b/c "diamond" card holders materialize out of thin air & go ahead of me, try to find out how many points I have at kiosk but am told I have to insert my player's card in a video poker machine only to find out that I have a grand total of $3.82. This was on a Sunday (after a Raven's game) & Monday night. Room was like a morgue both nights. Hope it can be turned around for all the players in the area. Me? I am back home at Foxwoods.

Yeah I'm sure the room is gonna do a 180 in 48 hours.

Good lord, poker players are the worst. (Myself included.)

Give the man six months to fight upper management for our rights as poker players and reassess in April.

So he's had his 6 months to fight management. On the other hand, according to Bravo, there are some new ideas for October promotions. There are $100 high hands Tues-Thurs, and for every one one of those you win, you have a chance to win $500 on the following Sunday ($500 given away every half hour noon - midnight).

Also, there are now nightly "featured games" starting at 6:00pm with $5 time rake for which you can sign up a week in advance:
Mondays: $1/$1 NLH | $40-$100 Buy-in
Tuesdays: $5/$10 NLH | $1,000 - No Max Buy-in
Wednesdays: $5/$5 5-card PLO | $500-No Max Buy-in
Thursdays: $1/$3/$6 NLH - No straddle | $200-$1500
Fridays: $2/$2 PLO 8 or Better | $100-$500 Buy-in
Saturdays: Pink Chip HORSE | $100 Min Buy-in
Sundays: Pink Chip Limit Omaha 8 or better | $100 Min

Agreed... I think Management is blind to what is going on and Victor has to fight them all the way. The Promotions are getting a little better since Victor has been there. The No Cashier thing is extremely frustrating. They need to figure out a way to Jump start the room over again... a " Grand Re-Opening" kinda thing. Not sure with what or how but this had the ability to be a Great Room.

I think a tourney with a decent guarantee might be just what the room needs. Maybe some kind of $250 100k guarantee....

Agreed on this also.... I liked what Live did for the WPT Main event... 30 days worth of $45 &$400 Sattys into the event. To be honest got into the casino for those & stayed for cash.

The Shoe used to run tourneys with decent guarantees. They kept missing them.
