I took a look at past posts and don't see many 2/5NL games running, do you think it will change during the long weekend?
They do not have an attached hotel. There is a "no-tell" motel just across I75 but reviews on the internet were not good.
I was there labor day weekend. The only hotel that runs a free shuttle is the Park Inn by Radison which is downtown. We were traveling thru on motorcycles and wanted to be able to park the bikes and kick back and play cards and have a few brews. As i remember, the shuttle ran until 2:30 am and they came when you called. The hotel room was clean but small. I would stay there again. You may want to confirm with the hotel that they are still running the shuttle.
The poker room is decent. Dealers were competent. Only 1/2 was running with like 5 on the list for 2/5. The play was what you could expect at 1/2. The chairs were adjustable and very comfortable. Drink service was slow and expensive.
Good luck and have fun!
