I'm new to the area, about equal distance to the sands. what's the incentive for me to play here? the extra rake and no comp adds up pretty quickly.

That's a choice you'd have to make based on preference. If both places are equadistant, why not give us both a shot and see which you prefer? If you look at our February calendar on our website you can see the promotions that we have for this month (which I'm not permitted to list here) and if those appeal to you, we'd appreciate you giving us a chance. If you like tournaments we have a big tournament series the end of this month as well (details also on our website.)

If you have any questions, my e-mail is listed on the BravoPokerLive app, feel free to contact me.

You may only buy gaming chips, tournament entries, and slot play with cash. You could use the card for food purchases or items at our gift shop.

(If the card came with a PIN you might be able to withdraw cash, but you'd have to look into that)

Due to the impending "Nor'Easter" we will not be hosting a tournament on Thursday night. Please check BravoPokerLive or call the poker room for any updates.

Looking at schedule for HPO events. Is the website correct in saying that the $125 nightly's will only have a 4000 starting stack??

That is correct.

I understand it's not what people around the AC area are used to, but if you look at the actual structure and not just the starting stack, you'll see that it is set up as +/- a 5-6 hour tournament (should end around 12am-1am.) Less chips but a better structure is essentially the norm outside this region for daily tournaments, and the structure for our whole series was set up the same across all properties.

These "nightly no-limits" are basically an extra tournament for players who are out of earlier events but would prefer to play another tournament instead of cash. We couldn't have 7pm tournaments that have the same great structure and starting stacks of the earlier events or they'd go til 7am or later.

Brian, what are your projections for attendance for the tournaments in the series? The $1,800,$240s and $350s? Just a ballpark. Is the expectation that every tournament will at least go? What about specifically those on 2/24? Do you think you'll see a draw on a Monday? Also, would you please post some actual attendance details here during the series? Thanks

Was wondering this as well. I'm planning to play day 1 on Friday of the multi-start event #3 / $350 buy-in.

Our $240's last year that took place on weekends had over 100 in each. Our multi-day event I think had around 170 over 3 days in buys, but only one Day was on a weekend for buy-ins. I'm thinking the majority of the featured events will be between 100-200 entrants.

Since it was requested, I believe twoplustwo will be OK with me posting total runners for events.

I think it is safe to assume that action will be better than normal. How good remains to be seen I think.

We have 25 additional tables set up in the 4th floor banquet area. This is where the entire HPO event will take place (registration and play). Our 16-table poker room will be entirely cash play during this series.

I played in event 3 and wanted to say that I thought the tournament was well run and I had a good time. Sadly, I finished a couple of spots short of the money, but if anyone was in the event I enjoyed playing with you and will hopefully have another shot next year.
