Yeah, that 100% buy in makes for extremely deep 1/2 games. I've spent about 50 hours at 2/5 since last Sunday, and it plays deep, but not anywhere near as deep as 1/2 considering people consistently buy in for 250+bb.
I talked about a good point made at the table the other day by some guy. He said that the 100% buy in was a bad thing because it would bust everyone in the local economy who isn't a good player. People simply can't afford to buy in, and lose that much a couple of times per session, and a couple of sessions per week.
After thinking about it for a while, I am leaning toward agreeing with him.
