I am really sorry for your experience dr22. Please understand that my response while does not correct the system at CT or provide a relief to you on what you have gone through.

There is a kiosk behind the signup desk that you can use to check the status of the hours you have and the hours you need for any promotions.

If I am trying for any promotions I use that before and after my sessions to make sure I have the required number of hours for an event. You could have done the same before leaving the property on the day you were trying to earn the hours. It is much easier to fix this on the same day with the floor than getting disappointed later.

I know CT is no Borgata in terms of dealing about the comp issues. But, it would have been much easier to deal with on the same day.

Yes, you are correct, I could have swiped at the end of my session that day to ensure the hours got logged although I figured since I made sure I was swiped in and made sure that I got more than enough hours, checking would have been redundant. Obviously, I was mistaken. Although, interestingly enough, I did call a few days before the tournament to make sure, and as usual, never got anyone to pick up the phone in the poker room to help me. I called 3 times between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on a Tuesday, thinking they wouldn't be busy and could double check for me. No one ever picked up the phone.

I am saddened by the way CT has turned out to be. I eagerly anticipated the opening of the poker room there and have been a regular ever since. I'm sure many of you who post to this thread would recognize me if you saw me, especially if you regularly play 1/2 (and to a lesser extent 2/5). Since it has opened, I have been routinely disapointed with the way they run things and this was the last straw, so to speak, for me personally. I have many friends that play there and a few friends who are dealers, and have gotten to know others through the years. I now feel I have to look elsewhere to play, which is ashame since CT is somewhat convienent to me.

Is it allowed to bring a backpack/other small bag to the poker room? Just for headphones, snacks, etc.

Are you calling the poker room extension listed in the first post? That extension goes to the upstairs podium still, which isn't open except on weekends these days.

dr22, I had a similar issue, except I called ahead of time to make sure I had the necessary # of hours. I was basically told the burden is on the player to make sure the dealer swipes you in (I did) and that I have to go up to the podium before/after every session to make sure my hours were logged. It is absolutely absurd that the patrons are responsible for ensuring the dealers do their job properly just so that you can register for a tournament (which provides CT with more revenue). I will probably never come there again unless there is a particularly good tourney, and stick with Delaware Park until MD Live opens.

I noticed that I wasn't getting credited full hours by checking the kiosk. Went up to the brush, went over the times and days I played, and he credited me for 3 additional hours not tracked by Bravo.

The only consistent thing about Bravo is that it's reliably inconsistent. For any type of hours-based promotion, make sure you are checking it yourself.

Hmmm, not sure. I called the regular number then hit the option for the poker room, then I usually keep hitting buttons until it rings through and then, of course, no one ever answers. Perhaps I have been doing it wrong. Oh well..

Outside food is not allowed in the casino. They will search your bag on the way in.

Unless you're a woman with a bag that identifies to them as a purse, then it doesn't typically get searched and you can bring in anything from candy to a gun.

Good luck with MD Live. I'm sure that they'll be so much better and more customer oriented with people who are begging them to play their games than the existing casino you are complaining about.

A lot of the time I don't swipe my card since I got nothing out of it anyway. BTW, I called this morning and it took 2 minutes to get connected to the poker room and the floor person told me they have issue with the Bravo system. Reason being data are not being transfer and therefore, you don't get the games update report in the bravo. The dude told me they are working on it, however, he did say they have games running. I guess I'll check it again tomorrow before I go up there.

Just wear a small backpack under your jacket when you're walking in and you won't have a problem. I used to do it all the time. You just have to get past the guys at the door, no one cares when you're inside.

There are 100 plus people on the 2/5 and more than that on the 1/2 list right now. Open seats everywhere. Leaving.

I played today for a bit and noticed the same thing when I arrived. It wouldn't have surprised me to know they were down a floor person or something. As you said, there were long stretches of time w/o folks getting called and seats definitely open.

That hasn't usually been a problem recently. It didn't seem that way Friday (FYI).

I have watched CT manage the room for some time now.....they are just not efficient. They have plenty of floor staff, they just do not run very smooth. From tray refills to seating to table changes. Most floor personnel prefer the cozy kiosk than running the floor. It has always seemed to me that the do not assign specific duties to floor personnel. They all seem to takes names, seat players, fill trays, address disputes, or whatever at will.

I hate to make comparisons, but the Borgata does things in a very systematic fashion. I think CT has come a long way and I do enjoy playing there, but they really do miss the mark in some areas.

The problem has really popped up in the last few weeks. I'm not sure why. I do think the same thing was happening Friday. I left the office early and was playing by 5, so I sat right down. However, our table was short for the 6 hours I played and the list at 9pm was over 50 people. The floor kept assuring us people were coming, but no such luck. I love short-handed play, but the inefficiency is brutal.

As someone with a family, playing on the weekends is going to not happen much if it continues in this manner. It's not feasible to get there at 7-8pm and wait 3+ hours to play and still have a family life the next day.

Having someone actually walk the player to the seat would go a long way towards improving efficiency. Not only would it stop the ******* players that feel entitled to sit down at an open seat in lieu of utilizing the list, it would ensure the promptness of filling seats and keeping things flowing properly.

I don't get why all of the tables aren't utilized. When I look at the wait-lists for other rooms around the country, CT just doesn't make sense. Right now, Borgota's longest wait list is 9 for 40/80lhe. Parx is 6 for 1/2, etc... CT is 100 deep. Seems odd to me.

Played short most of the time I was there monday because bravo wasn't updating and the dealers weren't calling the open seats out. Very frustrating.

This is why you need to be there before noon on Sat. if you want to play. There was a guy at my table came all the way from Richmond, VA just for the day trip and this is one of the reason why this place is pack.

Put in about 10 hrs yesterday from 1 PM to 10:30 PM at 2/5 table 17 seat 2 downstairs. Did ask couple people on the floor about the Bravo issue and they told me is the CT server problem. No timeframe when is going to get fix, however, did notice long waitlist for than 100 for both 1/2 and 2/5 around 8 PM. Couple guys told me they've waited for than 1 hr before got seated.

I had a great time and a net postive day.
