Players. I'll admit most of the time
it was big calls and large pots. But I did eventually call clock on a guy that took forever a few times.
I hate timed rakes. But I guess it's more common out on the east. The $6 rake for 1-2 is absolutely horrible considering the min buy in is 60 and
max is 300 I believe. In 3 hours you've lost atleast 10% or half your stack. You'll need to be super aggresive. The 2-5 was a good
game but I still think it should comefrom the pot.
I have to give it to these guys. It was one of the best run rooms I've seen and I've probably played in over 100 rooms around the country. The floor was great. Dealers were above average and eager
to ask questions to make sure they had things right. Very impressed. I think I saw my first dealer call a string bet before another player did for the first time in years. Hopefully things continue this smooth and in no time this ply will be in need of serious expansion and will remind me of my home casinos in LA.
Funny. I heard a dealer comment on this site while playing and people were complaining about the rake.
