They do 2/1 comps there - so every $1 = $2 when you buy stuff.

I signed up for some promos there, and they gave me $50 in comps and I used $10 of them that night, but they were gone the next time I went there. I went to the help desk and they pretty much didn't know how to help. Perhaps someone took my card and used my comps?

What can you use them for outside of "buying things"?

Not sure what you mean - but I went to get a beer that was $7 at that middle bar and they charged me $3.5 in comps.

Is this good marketing to make you think that your comps value is smaller than it actually is?

I have no idea - it was the strangest thing i've ever seen, but it's what they did. I think the comps are good for free play at face value and double the value when you get food items.

Are they automatically loaded on your card for use at outlets? I never had comps there so curious how they work. Something is better than nothing. Also do they still have that place in the food court you can buy fudge? I used to enjoy taking a nice brick of that home with me.

Yes, you don't have to go to the floor to get money put on your card.

Yes, you can still buy fudge in the food court.

That dessert place in the food court is actually very reasonably priced. You can get a huge platter of desserts for less than $30. I've bought it a few times for the table. I feel like the equivalent at MGM would be like 3x as expensive. Even the individual items are reasonable.

Thanks all. I was up there recently to see a show and enjoyed playing there and eating/drinking at the sports bar and betting horses. Hope to get back soon,

They've just started a Happy Hour in the poker room with free drinks on Wed, Thurs, and Sunday, so I doubt this applies… but I'll see if I can find out.

Yep… the poker room happy hour was temporary until this kicked in… so, free rail drinks in the poker room, too.
