Hello,
has anybody played there before and can tell me if it's worth going? I'm in the area next week and was thinking about making the trip there. Thanks.

I have never played in Valkenburg ( Assumed it was Dutch but had to google it). But I have played many times at Holland Casino in Amsterdam near the Leidsplein ( I think that's called).
a) You have to bring ID, drivers license is ok.
b) Not even soft drinks are free and the rake was very high
c) Most players were North American or British tourists, not many local Dutch players.

I was playing there daily until leaving the country this spring. The €1/€2 and €2/€4 run the same, it'll even be the same players.
Players are willing to call a couple streets but often fold to larger bets without nut or near nut holdings. If the table gets down to 6 or so you can run over them because they're pretty weak tight.
