I doubt it though. They'd have to adjust their other levels. I can't see them randomly sticking in a 2/3 100-300 between the 2/3 100 and 2/5 300. I could be wrong though, I haven't been there in a month.

Btw Serio, are you around 5'9 140lbs very short hair and a mustache?
Russia guy, I just called and there is NOT a $100-300 game. Their new game as mentioned above is $300-500 with 5/5 blinds.

The bike offers a 1/3 game with $80-120 which is a donkfest and a 2/3 with $100-300. I wish the Hustler, Commerce or Garden offered this option.

And no, i am not the person you described.

I assume most ppl go to hg vs commerce or bike b/c of location.

Hmm, I am not so sure about this considering bike and commerce are only a few minutes apart. Numerous people do visit their nearest casino out of convenience but hard to say if its "most" here in So Cal with so many options. Currently my primary destination is the Bike although HG and Commerce are closer.

Was referring to why ppl choose hg over commerce or bike.

Btw the bike is between commerce and hg so your statement is impossible.

So I live in norwalk and the following is straight from google maps:

1)The Garden, 5.3 miles away, 16 mins
2) Commerce, 10 miles away, 20 mins
3) The Bike, 11 miles away, 25 mins

*Due to me living pretty close to 5 fwy and it being a straight shot. I need to get on 105 and then 710 for Bike which is "L" shaped route
**Also, I hate it when people say its impossible or they are 100% right on something and then proven wrong.

Ahh...you guys beat me to it (w/ the facts), damn you work lol!! I think their logic, though mabye flawed, is that there has been a greater proportion of 300 tables since pretty much post-BF and they are trying to keep the customers happy (i.e., coming through the door). At least that's what i've seen, been playing the 3 there on and off since 08 (along w/ some 500 and 100ugh). I'm not so sure it's going to have much of an effect either way.

And I play @ Commerce as well, primarily the 200 and tourneys there tho (and the Bike). I like HG because of the location obv closest to me, and the games there seem to suit my style and have been +EV. Mostly location tho, I spend so much effing time in my car as it is in LA

HG's buy in structure is a little better and I'd say between the 3, generally they have the worst players.

I don't know why anyone would play at the Bike given all the options in LA. Yeah they have the best buy in structures for the games, but the action doesn't justify it.

If you're a low stakes player I'd say HG is your best bet. The $300 game is much better than Commerce's $200 game. And they generally have more of them going. Also if the 5/10 is very soft and they cap the buy in at $1k if you're on a shorter roll and want to take a shot.

The Commerce 5/10 has more games going and generally is not bad either.

Strictly speaking (absolute distance) the bike is likely "closer" to you than commerce but I see your point.

This question has been asked plenty of times and the consensus is yes. However, how low of an hourly justifies beating the game can be debated forever.

FWIW the Bike offers 1/3 NLH with a $100-300 buy in and free food.

PLO games every day. I usually play in the room after 7pm though so I don't know when the game starts. 1/2 blinds with 100-200 buyin. 1 table usually going. Played a few times lots of middle aged tards who play K996 to a raise and flop sets left and right.

So you gotta stay patient and wait for good spots and not get steamed when you see idiots raking in big pots. I think there is a 5/5 game in the high limit area.

The PLO game started today around 4:00 pm.

The 5/5 $300-$500 game started around 3:00 pm. I was a little disappointed when the game started, we had 3 players buy-in for the minimum. I'm not sure why they don't play in the $300 max 3/5, but I guess they have their reasons.

I've been meaning to get to that 1-2 PLO game forever, especially since it's never spread anywhere else in LA.

LA traffic has deterred me so far. One day.

NL structures sound good too. They give free food at a certain limit? Just wondering.

What stakes limit holdem runs on a regular basis?
Is there a 20 40 + that runs all day every day?

300-1000 now. The 300-500 is probably the game that they used to try and get running before the big 5-5 had a minimum of 300. It hardly ever ran though. Now the only options are the 100-200 buy-in 1/2 or the 300-1000 buy-in 5/5. The 5/5 is more hit or miss than the 1/2. The 1/2 runs every day through the night and the 5/5 can be spotty at times but usually gets started for at least a little while at some point every day.

The 5/5 $300-$500 game I was referring to is the newly introduced NL game. I usually play till 4:00 pm, and it hasn't been running by the time I leave the last few days I've been to HG. It may be starting later, but I don't know.
