Looks that way. Official 2+2 policy is that employees can't post unless they're vetted as official cardroom representatives, and dealers aren't eligible for that role.

I understand the policy, but it results in us losing valuable information about a small room that could use some extra attention. Unfortunately I'm 3 1/2 hours away and don't get to Harrington often. If you're closer, maybe you could talk to a floorperson and see if you can convince them to establish a presence here.

I only get there two or three times a month myself ! But I'll try to remember to say something .

I stopped going when I heard rumors of people stealing chips from others on bathroom breaks. The last few times I went, the one 1-2 table was full, with a few on the waiting list. I didn't feel like waiting.

I plan on getting there around 2 p.m. on Friday afternoon -- will there be a game going?

Played there Friday 2/15/13. Got there at 3 p.m. and 1 table of 1/2 was going. I was on the list for 30 minutes and got the call there was a seat open. Game was super nitty. The room was fine and the staff/dealer was cool. Still, empty and nit fest....won't be returning unless I'm headed through the area again.

Just a long shot question.......How often, if ever, does a 2/5 game get going?

I'm vacationing on the Eastern Shore sometime this summer. My parents' house is about 2 hours from Harrington. What's a good day/time to play? I'd love to spend a day there just grinding away.

Never, your better off driving up 13 20 more minutes and playing at Dover Downs, this is one of the deadest card rooms around.

so your saying there is a steady 2/5 at D Downs?

2/5 only runs on weekends at D Downs, but 2/5 does run steady up at Delaware Park which is about 45-50 minutes north of D Downs.

Thanks again fisti........too bad, last summer on the weekends Harrington had at least 4-5 1/2 tables going and there were a few tables that had some decent stacks.....also, there was talk about the occasional 2/5.
I'm driving up from OC, was hoping Ocean Downs would get going.....but they SUCK !!!!
Guess Ill just have to see, and maybe head to D Downs.....just a little too far for a quick Sat night game......

Main reason for posting is my comp card had $100+ comp dollars, and I hadn't played there since last summer. And i might have played 30 to 40 hours total last summer. The dealer said they have increased poker comps....cool ! We ate well and the food was good.
I got on the 2/5 NLH list that had 5 on it already, but the game still didnt go.
The floor mentioned a 2/5 PLO game that goes Tuesdays and Thursdays, but I'm only playing NLH currently.
Only Three 1/2 tables going, maybe the Holiday Weekend made it slower.
Its a shame, good comps, good dealers , and a good floor. "Jay" ran the room well , and it was very convenient to be able to call in to get on the list. They don't have shufflers, but the dealers were still quick.

I realize the deadness of this place....but Ill prolly try and get a 2/5 list started this Sat night....

Harrington is getting a $5/10 Omaha h/l game going on monay nights with plenty of perks. Food specials, $3 timed rake, and splashing $100 every quater of the football game. Gonna start this Mon at 6

I'll be vacationing in the area on Monday, November 25th. Is this a 5-10 limit game or pot limit? I'd be interested in 5-10 limit.

Great, we have been starting around 6 and the game has gone until 1 or 2 am every Monday.


Starts 5/10 limit w a full kill. Usually turns into 10/20 at some point in the night. Last night at half time we made it a 10/20 w a half kill.

I visited the room for the first time on vacation last week. I really liked the room. I wanted to played the LO8 on Monday. $3 rake is a good deal, but could not make it.

I played the Wednesday Omaha tourney. There were 30 runners and people were says that was a big turn out. The tourney was run well.

The room was very clean and felts looked new. Floor and dealers knew what they were doing and very nice. Food and drink service was great. The room is kind of hidden, which is a great advantage of not having slot machines ring your ears while in a hand.

Room for improvement: Brighter lights and drink holders in the table.

If you are vacationing on the Delaware beaches, this is a nice room to visit. The promos are great for a small room.

How many 1/2 NLHE tables run typically during weeknights?

I don't have a direct answer, but since this thread is so low-traffic, will offer my observation that over the past month, I've been there twice early Saturday evening (as late as ~9 pm), and never saw more than 3-4 tables running. So I'd be surprised if more than 2 run weeknights.
