I heard about this on my last trip. What is being built? Or just renovations?

There is a conference center going up. It is being built next to the waterfront.

Now, has anyone lost ALL comp rooms totally on the web site? I have offeres for LV but not AC.

Same here and I am a strictly poker Diamond member (mostly playing in Philly though). Also, my mailer with offers stopped coming in November (last one that came was October one). Has this been your experience as well?

Yup no mailers or offers for AC since October here. LV offers still rolling in though.

Last week, Thu I believe, rec'd free room offers for the month of Jan. Usual restrictions on holidays and weekends. Mon-Thu was free for most of the month at H. I'm Gold, strictly poker, only go to AC to recharge my comps now.

I guess they think they have us hooked and you are not hooked. I've been a diamond for a couple of years, but will be platinum next year.

I will probably call and see if I can get a comp, but I have no AC offers for January.

One thing I noticed, during the week, CET almost deals as much as the Borg now on a regular basis. ( the four CET together )

That tells me that their recent promotions are working. Because it used to be two to one, unless there was a huge bad beat going on at CET.

Perhaps that has something to do with the disappearing room offeres. Of course, they have disappeared before, and came back. It makes you wonder if anyone knows what they are doing.

My room offers are good. Got one for Friday for free. Granted I'm A Diamond But still. Mainly poker since July. My wife and I play video poker to get diamond and stop in July or so. Free rooms through mid January and then I pay a minimal fee on Friday and Saturday. I was told by a host to try and play at one CET property not bounce around. It doesn't affect your tier points but your offers will grow if you stick to one property.

"My wife and I play video poker to get diamond and stop in July"

Yes, the other folks who answered only play poker. Playing slots is the easiest way to get rooms.

Diamond means nothing in AC. If you go to Vegas you are treated like a king though. Definitely worth the trip. The diamond lounge access and shorter lines are the biggest perk in AC. The annual coupon book is a big deal too.

I went to LV as a diamond, and accessed the diamond lounge. Other than that why is LV so great to diamonds? I am thinking that I missed out on my first trip.

The two free shows a month. Diamond lounge there are trash compared to AC. Glorified snack bars. If you ask for a host at a property out there as a visiting diamond they will get you almost anything. We didn't pay for a meal. We got upgraded to a mini suite free of charge. It's all for the asking so ask!

I c, I figured that was the case, pretty much. The one time I went, I played poker non stop, so it really was not a big deal to miss on that. I will ask the board for ideas before I go the next time.

Sorta OT but Full House tonight! It's to be expected since it's the holiday weekend but I can't remember the last time I circled the parking garage for 5 times through and thought about, maybe I should take it over to the Borgata and then come back in about an hr or two.

Never 5 times through the garage, maybe at most 3 and I get a parking spot far out in the exposed area but today was 5.

I wish I knew about the suite upgrade, I stayed at Harrahs last year and had a ****ty room, however we got a free $100 dinner, free show, and front of line access to every place. Did they really comp every meal for you? Did you play there a lot? More then just poker?
