Don't have one right now but it's exactly like the $1 chips, but red and with a $5 written on it.

Very sad to hear that, I loved the little metal medallion in the middle, it always made a particular sound when tossing with multiple chips that will be missed. RIP

QFT

i went to harrhas a few times with a friend cause he likes the 'atmosphere", hung out and played a bit of poker and then went to dinner and stuff.

do they EVER stfu?

i understand the motto of "fun first", but, why do so many of these dealers think, that, "fun" is listening to them chatter away the whole time? newsflash: dealers should never be center stage. WE are the customers, you speak when spoken to. seriosuly, i know that may sound snobbish but its just the way it is. but when they sit down in the box and just immedialtely start flappin their gums, then i'm sorry, imo, they are really only there for themselves. these dealers would never cut it dealing in higher limit games.

That's like saying waiters at a TGI Fridays would never cut it at Ruth Chris. They aren't trying to get the serious high limit "I just want to have a quiet game of work" players, they are trying to get the casual, fun "I just want to good around" players. Casual players do not say "remember that game where nobody said anything but 'call' or 'raise' and the dealers were very quiet? I want to go back there!"

Agreed. One of the nice things about Harrah's A.C., in my opinion at least, is how friendly most of the dealers are. They are fun to chat with. Not all are chatty, and they all will stay quiet if asked - but why ask?? The banter and conversation is part of the fun and help keeps the game lively and the money flowing.

I like a friendly dealer as long as the chatter doesnt slow the game. I'd say a decent % of the chatty dealers (at all casinos) also seem to have a problem with keeping the action going (some even stop dealing while talking) or paying attention to the action while they are chatting.

chatty regulars/dealers are part of the game

some come to socialize versus just to play, you want those types at your tables

i wasnt aware that the majority of you actually enjoy the chatty atmosphere. dont get me wrong, i love a noisey game, but i dont love or enjoy a noisey/chatty dealer. sorry, but imo, i honestly dont think that they should be in our conversations and for obvious reasons.

i dont believe that a chatty dealer is part of the game; it might be part of the game at harrahs, but its not the norm!

and, i dont think that all recreational players would welcome all this chatter either, but, obv. the ones that post here do enjoy it, so. to each their own.

i like pleasant and chatty dealers but absolutely hate it when it comes at the cost of slowing the game down. a lot of dealers know their priority is to pay attention to the action and keep the game moving. some don't. a few borgata dealers are "friendlier" than others but always keep the game moving. you go to horseshoe cleveland and the dealers are all friendly and stop doing their job and you only get 7 hands a down.

You know Borgata is next door?

and you can use your parking from Harrah's once at Borgata....but ofc while partying a cab works or even walking isn't terrible.

have fun, congrats!

How has the action been at Harrahs lately? I need to get up this month before my credits expire and just wondering how many tables have been running throughout most weeknights? Has 2/5 been going? Thanks

We are heading down for a bachelor party this weekend and are thinking about hitting up the pool after dark. I figured this might you guys might know, what is the cover on a Sat night, also if we get bottle service does that negate the cover? We have between 10-14 guys so it may make more sense just to do bottle service if that gets rid of the cover.

What is super no-limit?

Also, did caesars properties really up the bbj take to $2? That is a disaster if true

Yep, it's a huge disaster. Esp. when rooms like the Revel are offering great promotions without increasing the drop.

As far as I know, the only difference between Super No Limit and what CET properties used to spread is the buy in min-max which is now 100-500

THe drop is $2 for the promotions they are doing. And Super no limit is also $1.50 in comps, and 24 tier points per hour, instead of $1 and 17 tier points.....it is basically a 1/3 now
