I think it is more that most didn't want to play 5 handed. But I do appreciate that Harrah's lost an extra few hours of rake because they wouldn't let $12.50 stay with the players. You would almost think they don't need to pay the dealers that are already there if they're not dealing to anybody. But I'm sure shipping one of the craziest gamblers I have ever seen off to Borgata is a great move for them.

Borgata does it simply, 6 players active you get half rake ($3 instead of $5), 4 guys sitting out get to pay full $5. Seems fair, don't leave the table.

the craziest gamblers are dealers probably from borgata and all the others are tight

Was playing at Harrah's yesterday and it was nice to see multiple 2/5 games and a 5/10 game all with lists. Not to mention the huge number of 1/2 tables running with good action. Looks like the overflow from the Borgata tournaments has found its way here.

Floor management did a great job of handling all the people. Considering the large number of players, there were few issues. Was at the Borgata looking for a seat on a game and both the 1/2 and 2/5 games had lists up to 80 people which translated into about a 4 hour wait. Guess they are short on dealers due to the tourneys. Floor management there, though, were completely overwhelmed and did little to accomodate player issues.

I noticed recently that when the 10-20 OE changes to just 10-20 omaha harrahs has been updating the bravo to reflect that.

If any management or regulars are listening in - please keep doing that.

Same thing happened last year. There is nothing they can really do. Are you really going to hire, train a dealer for just a couple days of work? They just deal with this overflow.

I don't think they're short on dealers, they're short on tables. The cash game numbers seem low and the lists are long because the tournaments are using tables in the poker room. Once they started getting tables back from the tournament yesterday they opened cash games fast, but they had all 85 in the poker room plus 90 in the event center running.

Good point, you are correct. Still that makes no sense. Why not put 10-20 tables somewhere at the Borgata, there must be an empty room somewhere!

Hey guys, I'm a frequent visiter to this site for table info but never get a chance to post. I'm heading to AC on Friday to celebrate my birthday and a friend's. Anyone know who I can speak to to get good rates for three rooms at harrahs/borgata?

I have a black card at borgata can I trade up to diamond at Harrah's? I already have a Harrah's card so I wouldn't be a new member.

May hit Harrah's on Sunday, principally to recharge / maintain comps. Slim chance of $2/$5 NL going on the long weekend?

According to Weather.com, both Hell, Mi and Hell Creek, Mt. have frozen over.

Maybe Harrah's will get a PLO game!
