Does anyone know if there is a special hotel rate if you're playing a WSOP Circuit event?

Yes, received a flyer stating rates "begin at $29"; need to advise Reservations you are playing in the Circuit.

Have you tried to get rooms yet? I am sure Friday and Saturday night you can't get anywhere near $29. I am a Diamond member and my Friday and Saturday night are $79+

No, I had to change my plans and will not play. You're likely correct, $29 probably Sun-Thu.

Talked to the floor people, and they told me best they could do is $99 for Friday night, and I could get $25 booking online since I am diamond card, still so much worse then the free I used to get. I also changed my plans

You are correct. Sunday through Thursday are the $29 rate. Friday is higher at $79+, and Saturday is at $179+. They will take into account your calendar rate however, and if lower, they may discount it further. When I called for a Saturday night room, they gave me a $29 discount off my calendar rate. I am diamond as well, but do get weekly comped rooms, so that may also factor in.

Been since this past September since I've been in AC.
I'll be there 12/11-13 and 12/17-21 since I've got to use up all my off days. Anyone else there on those dates?
Definitely going to log in some serious hours at the poker room this time around.

hey everyone. I'm going to be going to harrahs from 12/16-12/19. I was wondering if anyone knows if the poker room will comp the buffet there? I am a regular at harrahs in chester, pa and I know after 4 hours of play there, they will comp you a buffet. Wanted to see if anyone knew if this applied in atlantic city as well. Thanks!!

This is the official letter one of the presidents of Harrahs sent to me:

We very much appreciate your interest in our offers and room complimentaries. Your account information was forwarded to our Marketing Team for review and it was found that you have not qualified for new offers at this time. Offers are based on your play as well as your comp usage. At this time we show that you have used more comps than your play has qualified you for, which in turn has stopped new offers from being sent. Comp evaluation is reviewed every quarter; therefore your account will be assessed again at that time. I apologize for any disappointment that this may cause you.

Sincerely,
Tina Brown | Customer Service Manager | Atlantic City Region

I used to get Sunday night to Thursday night, 3 straight days a week based on my play....now nothing and I am done there..Borgata it is

More than likely you paid harrahs regular weekday rate of ~25/night. You can probably lock in that rate for harrahs if you call them today. I just randomly looked on hotels.com and saw $34 night for weekdays in Dec. Enjoy the trip.

Are you able to buy-in to poker tournaments with comp dollars? I was told you could do this in Vegas .. curious if this is one of the many things I did not know about!

Also, is it 1:1?

Yes, I believe you can still do this, however, the comp ratio is 2 for 1.

100 Reward Credits equal 1 dollar. So if you have 1000 reward credits, that equals 5 in entry fees.

Thanks...if it says that anywhere on the TR site I've never found it. But the purpose of the TR site seems to be to get you to click in circles until you give up on getting anything out of it.
