Not sure what this is trying to say, but unless something has changed, no AC properties have "resort fees". The CET taxes and such for comped rooms is $13 a night, or was until very recently.

Then would *SOMEBODY* please explain why the CET fees are $13 and they are only $5 at Borgata, Taj, Resorts, etc.??????

Thank you!

Lee

I'm not a big fan of all this excess money tacked onto the room rates....why Dom they just say for a 25 room the the whole things will cost $42 taxes included!!!

This is why I prefer to stay at Borgata. The taxes and fees for a two night stay at the CET properties add up to $40. I think the standard for CET properties in fees is $10 per night.

Does the 10/20 OE game go everyday? Is this the same group that used to play at Borgata?

Does the 4-8 (or 3-6) Limit Holdem game go in the evenings? How about this weekend, with the larger Bad Beat Jackpot?

Hey there, I'll be staying at Harrah's with family Monday night.
I've been to a poker room once (Turning Stone) in my life, played 2/5 NLHE and broke even after a couple hours...

Can anyone give me any tips or anything, I'll be going in alone and I'm worried I'll stand there looking like a dope - is there a desk or something to check in to?

They have different hold 'em games running right? Will they ask me which I want to play at and such?

Sorry, I'm just so clueless and I'd rather spend Monday night playing poker than sitting at slot machines with the other members of my party.

Thanks!

Enjoy your stay and good luck at the tables.

The signup desk is on the middle aisle that runs from the simulcast area to the exit doors. If you don't see it just ask and someone will point you to it.

At the desk you'll see an overhead monitor with the games running. Just add your name to whichever lists you want to be placed on. You can go on as many lists as you want.

When your name is called for a seat don't be quiet or slow to respond. Speak up loud enough to be heard to let them know you want the seat, otherwise they move on to the next name. Then buy your chips at the cashier before heading you to your game. The cashier is on the other side of simulcast section. You'll see it.

Be prepared for big crowds and maybe a long wait for a seat if the Bad Beat Jackpot, which stands at over $700k, is not hit by the time of your visit.
