It's only too far for the morbidly obese. Unless 1/4 mile is too far for you.

Yea it's not at all a long walk. I don't know about doing it at night but even then it wouldn't be that bad.

I wouldn't do it at night if you value your life.

What's so dangerous about walking from Borgata to Harrahs? Someone hiding in the bushes on the off chance someone walks by who's too cheap to pay $2.25 for the jitney?

i know u guys probably dont play nothing but holdem, but when i was last in AC in 2005 harrahs still would have a $1-5 stud game. does it still exist at harrah's in AC? i know the Taj has it but not the borgata. dont post unless uve been in the poker room in the last few months and seen it. tired of false information.

They used to get up to three 1-5 stud games but recently I've only noticed one. I was there on Saturday and there was no game at all as of 9pm. They added an ante which has caused the game to die down a bit.

Bushes? What bushes? Certainly not in the field between the two. Mud and water, sometimes, after a heavy rain...... No hiding places. Easy walk.

I was being slightly sarcastic. I walked on roads when I did it back when I didn't know about the jitney.

Harrah's has a 1-5 stud game going most days in the afternoon. Bally's has a 1-5-10 stud game going everyday. Always starts at noon, and was still running today after 10pm - but that can vary widely, depending on demand.

there was a very low time in my life 5-15 yrs ago before NL become so popular, back when i used to play nOTHING BUT STUD. many times my bankroll was under $500, instead of the $3000-5000 it usually fluctutates between nowdays. a few i fell asleep outside during the day between the borgata and harrahs. maybe one of them guys walked by me one day and worried cause i was alseep.

but even then, i had my money hidden in my sock, and i too was more terrified of being robbed and assualted and having everything stolen just like they were. it sure wasnt me lying out there trying to sleep far from security that they needed to fear. i hope i wasnt the cause of anyone not wanting to make that walk. thank God them days are done and long gone, and ive not been homeless now for a few years.

This cracks me up. The ol' timers don't realize that the ante actually makes the game better. Maybe Harrah's should've made it .25 cents instead of .50 ...

Trop had 3/6 stud for a year or so, they had to switch it back to 1-5 recently to appease the regs.

It is pretty funny but immediately after adding the ante it went from 3 games to 1 game.

thank God the trop changed it back, i did not want to play in the trop my last trip to AC NJ because of the 3-6 fixed, mostly played at bally's yeah i know theres an ante too, but i liked the $10 round--also played at taj. dont like the way foxwoods has an ante, what does mohegan sun do?

3-6 stud must have an ante to work IMO. You can't have someone bring it in for $1 get 2 callers, then have 4th street check around and you have to bet $6 on 5th street into a $3 pot. Stud needs an ante or else it's a total nit fest.

i dont wanna play 3-6 limit stud period. wanna play spread limit either $1-5 or $2-10 instead of fixed limit. i myself am a very tight player.

On your given day frame, the majority of tables there will be 1-2 NLHE, one or two tables of 2-5 NL, 2-3 tables of LHE going (stakes vary).

1-5 runs every Saturday and Sunday. I'd have to assume it runs during the week too since most players play w/ their Social Security checks. That said, games are most likely juiciest near the first of the month.

Which path do you take to walk from Harrah's to Borgata? I tried walking out of Harrah's near the bus terminal and figuring out how to get there via walking but I just cant figure it out in my head/walking to the corners to see where I am...
