Oh, ok. Now I remember. For some reason I was thinking My back was at the same level as the dealer instead of the rest of the table. You're right. I kept having people from my NYC games finding me all weekend. It was amusing. I kept killing the old guy with my 8s in that last round of Omaha. Very surprised the WSOP hat guy wasn't a reg. Sure seemed like one. He was my big definition of "what a reg should be." Fun and friendly.

It's Bert, not Burt. And, depending on when this is from, I was in the 7 seat. Spewing chips as usual....

[QUOTE=*******;27746573]Borgata black card lounge is probably better anyways.

But the Diamond card is more valuable since it comes with a free Borgata Black Card.

I thought the guy in the WSOP hat at one point was the one who said "I don't know who to root for this hand but I'm rooting for not X. No offense X."

Got my money all back in the 2/5 game as well. Partially by a guy calling my turn flush bluff and rivering a gut shot.

I've gotten better - but not better enough. Either that, or I just ran bad in my last session there. Maybe a little of both.

I'll get it yet, though!

For some reason, it seems to run more during the week than on Saturdays. During the week, there are often 2 tables going during the afternoon, with one table going late into the night.

I never understood this. The regulars play weekdays and on the weekend when there is more of a player pool...Won't play. What, they don't want to deal with luckboxes. Rather just keep the money among the select few. Are there deals in place. Rebates on loses? %$ lost & won during the week?

Maybe the regulars are playing bigger in other games during the peak weekend traffic? I see this alot at other casinos. Weird.

I believe that at least some of the regulars are doing just that - playing in bigger games elsewhere on weekends. Some are dealers and might have to work then. I'm not really sure where they wander off to.

Sometimes, though, the game goes anyway on weekends. It really has built up quite a following.

Bad beat hit around 2am at harrahs straight flush vs quad 9s. 110k to loser 73k to winner, 945 table share ...not too bad

Wow wasn't it over 300,000 ...so about 20 games going at that time pretty good for a Tuesday.

I wouldn't say 20 games spread out over 4 properties is a good thing.

For a Tuesday at 2 am?

That's actually a pretty good number, for a Tuesday at 2am.

Consider that Showboat was probably at zero (sad, but true) or maybe 1 or 2 at the most. Caesars not much better, in all likelyhood. Also sad, but likely.

Was there something wrong with the old ones?

Not really - although they were very faded. Harrah's needed more pink chips, now that the poker room is using so many. So some were ordered.

The new ones do look better than the old ones!

At least, in my humble opinion.

I only played in the game a few times, but I didn't notice them being faded.
In fact, they barely fit in the racks, which I thought was because they were so unused! Are they actually a different size than the other chips?

they are a tad thicker than the other chips.. only one of the racks will accomodate a whole stack.. the rack has a imprinted circle in the middle of it..
