Aside from the bad beat being quite high, there's also a tavern poker league in town, probably why there's more games going.

Between the bad beat jackpot, the Tavern league poker tourneys, and the freeroll tourney for hours earned in May, the room has been busy to say the least. I think it's great to see so many games. Also, with summer upon us, you should continue to see an increase in games, as AC is totally tourist town during the summer months.

You get a free room for one night at any of the 4 AC properties, but it's only good Sun-Thurs. I think there's other stuff you get as well.

CET is pushing you to slots. Play for 1/2 hr. get a $100 slot coupon sent to you in the mail. Play that and get another $100 slot coupon to play in one of the other three casinos. My daughter recently got that offer about a month ago.

Hey guys - I have a question about poker rates, as I've never used one. My wife and I want to stay at Harrah's on a Friday & Saturday sometime in July, and I was thinking about using a poker rate to save some money (because we were going to play poker anyway) - what's the deal with booking it, and how does it work? Play 5 hours, then ask the floor for availability and rate. Although, during the summer, I wouldn't count on availability as I've seen regulars turned away. Summer, especially weekends, is becoming increasingly difficult to get. If you both play, you may consider combining cards, one primary, one companion on the same room to increase chances.

I would strongly suggest booking something, even a Howard Johnson, in advance if you are coming up. You can always cancel if poker rates are available, but gambling on a weekend room can leave you out. If you have a total rewards card, check the website to see what you can get, if anything. Your best chances are the properties away from the boardwalk, so Harrah's would be your best bet and you are already trying that. Good luck.

Nope it didnt . i might be there friday night as well.. Would rather play pink (750-15) lhe, but ill def play 5-10. Better chance of getting these games up and running on friday/saturdays anyway.
