$5 at least most of the time, even for hotel guests, unless you have a diamond or higher card.

However, if you play in the poker room they will give you a pass for free parking (if you leave that day only).

My mind slipped and I was thinking of Taj's 5-10 O/8 game when I said it was $75.

$10 no players card
$5 gold card
$0 platinum or higher card
U don't pay until you leave, so at the very least you'll pay $5 when you get a rewards card

If you are a hotel guest, you can produce that stub and pay once $5 and then afterwards you show the stub to go in and out free unlimited until your check out.

When you pay $5, they can give you a transfer to another casino in AC. I was informed by one of my friends who does not hold a platinum card that they used to give free transfers on demand (for hotel guests that paid the $5 thereonforth), they have since stopped doing this. He said they gave free transfers on demand as late as April 2011, when he went back in October, the cashier said in order to get a transfer to another casino, you need to pay $5 each time. I found that kind of interesting.

Does anyone know how tier scores work? Last week I was at around 900 then I checked today and it got reset and I'm now sitting at 6 points.

Should I call and bitch? I've been going there for like 20 months (I'm 22 going on 23) and want to know if they'll give points back because I'm not about to start paying for my own rooms now when I was starting to get Fri and Sat's comped. Should I say I'm going to go to Borgata?

Nothing can be done? This pretty much means I gotta pay for rooms again until I build up enough points for comps?

I could be wrong, but I don't believe points are the basis for comp rooms, just things like food. Your average play dictates room rates/comps.

You are talking about "Tier Score" not "Rewards Credit Balance" right?

The latter is your spendable comps and shouldn't have reset.

Your tier score resets to zero every January 1st. That is nothing to worry about. Your tier score is how many points you accumulate from 1/1-12/31 in a given year.

If you ended last year with a tier score of 4000 for example, that got you Platinum status last year and you keep that through March 2013. You need to earn at least 4000 tier points in 2012 to maintain your current tier level for the remainder of 2013. (Platinum in my example)

What gets you free rooms and other perks goes hand in hand with your Tier Score, and that is your ADT. (You can't see that number anywhere, but it's an average of how much you gamble)

That number of yours hasn't changed so if you check online you should still get basically the same free room offers as you did in December.

Hope that answered your question.

If you've been going for 20 months, your Tier Points should've also went down to zero at the beginning of 2011.

been in the mood to play cards lately. considering hitting either Harrahs or trying the Sands in PA in a couple weeks for a saturday night. I dont want to spend too much on a room. How does the poker room rates work? do i book a room, and then after playing for 4 or 5 hours request that they lower my rate?
thanks

Tier scores reset at the end of every year, but this should really make no difference to you. The only perk that is based on your tier score is your card status, and you weren't anywhere close to getting an upgrade. Room comps are based on ADT (your daily gambling average), which isnt public and doesnt reset at the end of the year.

I think you just call ahead. Not sure what they're rates are. If you're not looking to spend a lot I think Showboat advertises $29 everyday for poker room rate.

Quads up, but there is a minimum threshold. All AC CET rooms share, not just table.

The new restaurant to open in Reflections Cafe, Sammy D's, is awesome stuff. I've been there for breakfast for the past 2 days and there is now some choice so you don't end up spending $25+ on breakfast like one always did at Reflections (plus the service at Reflections was seriously awful). The place opened just a week ago so they are still working out the kinks. I met a shift manager named Anthony when I addressed to them some problems with my order and he couldn't have been nice enough. Great choice switching to Sammy D's imo.

I feel exactly the opposite...the menu is much smaller and less interesting, with $2-$4 added to the price of everything. The service was terrible (food arrived before silverware/napkins, sides didn't make it into the order, etc.) but could be a individual waitress issue.

$6.50 for a bowl of cereal? No thank you!

I miss the noodle bar option too.

Is there typically more than one table of pink chip on weekends ?

Also, does 4/8 LHE still go on weekends ?

The pink game is way more likely to have 2 games weekdays, there isn't always even one game weekends.

I don't think the 4-8 goes at all anymore, i rarely even see an interest list.
