Good deal. Were all the tables filled in the room?

I was at the Circuit last year during the weekend part of it, the room was hopping but not to the extent where there were 3 5-10 tables.

Less than a handful of the tables (in the back) were empty. Players from the mid/south Atlantic in abundance.

Does anyone know how many runners the midnight tourney typically gets on a Saturday night? Also, since I might be heading down there with a few buddies we were wondering if anyone knew how to get free or reduced admission into the pool party. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

All the Caesars properties have been giving away free rooms in December for Friday and Saturdays so I booked a few including this coming Saturday. I've never tried it myself but a buddy of mine offered $20 (albeit on a Thursday) at Showboat hotel check-in and was able to get a mini-suite. Anyone ever try the $20 trick at Harrah's?? I've gotten free upgrades to the Waterfront/Bayview/Atrium rooms on Thursdays and Fridays just by asking. I wasn't sure if flashing $20 would work given the fact that all rooms appear to be sold out this Saturday.

For Harrah's Resort, I would say the $20 trick is highly doubtful esp. Friday/Saturdays.

What is a WSOP Ring? Is it technically part of the WSOP? I mean even though you aren't playing in Vegas where the WSOP takes place, its still legit?

What is the top prize at the WSOP Circuit Championship at Harrahs?

Looking at this card, it looks like taking down the WSOP Las Vegas Satellite on 12/12 and 5pm with a 1035 buy-in gets you a seat in Vegas... would this be for the Main Event?

Thanks for your patience in explaining this all!

Harrahs Atlantic City hosts one of several WSOP circuit events in which winners of events receive a ring instead of a bracelet like at the annual WSOP in Vegas. There are several of these circuit events all over the country throughout the year at various Caesar's properties. I believe players also accumulate points based on finishes in these events and are kept track of throughout the entire year.

I would assume that the top 10% finishers in the satellite event win a seat to the main event ($10350) however it is possible that you have the option to split this into entries into lower buy-in events. Somebody else might have more insight on that.

Can you still make 7 star playing poker? I was searching B&M and it looked like they reduced the point.

Theoretically, it is still possible. 100,000 tier points are needed to make 7-Star. At 40 points per hour (the current rate paid for 2/5 NL and the pink chip game, plus anything else at those levels or higher at the Atlantic City properties) it would playing 50 hours a week for 50 weeks. That's if one can find those games running for 50 hours a week and want to play in them. But, it is doable, if one wants to play 2,500 hours of poker a year! I did that once, and it left me totally spent. Never again by me!

Under the proposed new point system (already in use at the Vegas properties and perhaps elsewhere), those games would only pay 34 points per hour.

Thus, one would have to play almost 3,000 hours of 2/5 and higher a year in order to make 7 Star!

So, is it possible to still make 7 Star? Yes, its possible, but that's one heck of a lot of poker!

Thx, a good friend is thinking about moving his play to A. I had mentioned much earlier that you could make 7 star from poker at AC and was searching to make sure I was giiving him good info.

i really dont see where 7stars is any more valuable than a diamond, being a diamond gets u free rooms, etc too.

I don't believe Diamonds get free weekend rooms, but 7 Stars can.

i dont think that has to do with diamond or 7 stars, but where u are located. i could be wrong. i get some fridays and saturdays free in vegas, or even in laughlin, but never outside of NV, and hardly any days free in where theres only nicer harrahs properties than the IP in vegas.

As a low diamond, weekend rooms appear for me but very rarely in the recent calendar year.

I'm Platinum and get Fridays comped in the winter. I also can get 2 consecutive nights comped in AC. Colleagues of mine who are Diamond told me their room offers are the same. Vegas has offered me 3 consecutive nights, Sun-Thu.

Hey, I was about to book a room for tonight and saw they have on their terms and agreement before booking a room that NO Debit cards are accepted. Only for payments upon check out. Anyone ever book a room and put deposit on a Debit card instead of a Credit card?

I just saw a post by someone that said there was a free shuttle. But you need to be either diamond or better or have booked a room at one of the 4 Total reward properties to be able to use it? I'm confused... is this shuttle the Jitney? Or is it some other shuttle? Someone mentioned that you could take the jitney for free if you booked a room at one of the 4 total reward properties? That doesn't sound right at all.

The shuttle and Jitney are two separate services, and the shuttle is for diamond card holders. The Jitney is only $2.50 or something in that range. It's worth it to take it rather than doing the walk in the cold anyway.

Hi are you 100 percent its only for diamond card holders? I read someone mentioned you either had to be diamond card holder or just have booked a room at one of the properties and you can still ride it.

Diamond or a room at a Caesars property. It only goes to the 4 Caesars properties and it does not run 24 hours. I believe it's something like 10am-10pm, but I could be off a bit.

I just took a look at it says if i stay at one of the 4 properties, harrahs, ballys, caesars or showboat, i get to ride the shuttle for free providing i provide my total reward card and the paper that im staying at one of the hotels. This seems pretty good.

Do you know where is the daily schedule? Like is it twice every hour? Is it the same weekday as oppose to weekend? Do jitneys arrive faster than these free shuttles? I see it says it runs between 10am and 11pm but are there always a lot of people waiting in line for these? I assume if i'm checking out the morning of the day i'm leaving, i won't be eligible to use the free shuttle? Thus i could only use the free shuttle those 2 nights im staying? Because if this is case, I will definitely stay at showboat or harrahs if i can use the free shuttle service.

Also, what is the thing that you have to show proof that you are staying at a room? Usually all im given is the room key. Do i need to ask for the receipt? That is what i read online.

Some advice: Don't take that Harrah's shuttle. It takes sooo long. Sometimes, it just sits and waits to fill up before leaving. It took me 60 min to get from Harrah's to Caesar's (at least).

If you are a room guest, you show your room receipt stub and your comp card.

Trust me, though. $2.25 is worth it on the Jitney. That Harrah's bus is just plain horror-ride-tastic. Heck, if there's a line, you may not even get a seat.

Random question. I won the midnite tourney the night before the wsop started and was wondering if they still run the freeroll between the 4 properties. Any info?
