Has there been any interest amongst the regulars in adding razz (or stud) to the OE game ?

I don't know the answer to this, but I went to Caesar's (another CET property) last Friday for the tournament at 1:15, and I was the only one who was there for it. (Worked out for the best: 1-2 game was easy.)

I suspect that many of the CET property tournaments don't get off on weekday afternoons.

They can't spread RAZZ unless they are doing a testing as well. That means that they will have to get approval from the DGE. This takes time and paperwork. We have a log that we have to keep up with and in a few weeks we will turn it over to the DGE. Once the test is completed, everyone in AC will be able to spread RAZZ.

Just played in my first ever live tournament here in the midnight 58+12. Finished in 7th place out of 18 people because I effed up and started playing like a donk when I was chip leader in the middle of the tournament and then when the final table started.

A few things:

Blind structure is SUPER fast (15 mins a level) and if you don't win a couple of pots in the first 45 minutes you're going to be facing real trouble. If you're card dead you're pretty much screwed.

Payout was only 2 out of 18 players. Seems very small to me as I feel the Top 3 at least should be payed. I played for 3 hours, finished in 7th and there will be people that play 4+ hours that don't get squat (barring a chop).

Overall I was pleased with how I fared but am still mad at myself for playing very dumb and showing my weaknesses by not playing tighter with chip lead.

Comps at AC CET properties are added to player's TR account. How many Reward Credits are given per hour of play (say for 1-2 NLH)?

Sorry if this question is answered elsewhere ITT or some other, but I couldn't find them.

Currently, 1/2 NLHE pays $1.00 per hour in comps, plus 20 tier credits. 2/5 NLHE pays $2.00 per hour and 40 tier credits.

All 4 CET properties are doing additional comps for certain periods of time (not tier credits, those stay constant.) Harrah's, for example, pays an extra $1.00 per hour Monday through Thursday, and Bally's gives double comps from 8:00pm on Wednesday through 8:00pm on Thursday. I'm not sure what Showboat and Caesar's are doing, but I do know that they are both running comp promotions.

$1 = 200 Reward Credits? Or are poker comps completely separate from Reward Credits?

It would be nice if Harrah's AC poker room followed what Borgata and Taj do and posted live game reports. I am just saying...

100 reward credits = $1.00. Basically each credit is worth one cent.

If you use them at McCormick & Schmick's or Taste of the Shore it takes $2.00 worth of comps to buy $1.00 of food.

What are the limits for this game and what kind of roll would I need for it. I'm new to this game and am still learning a lot. Thanks for any help

Quesiton for you CET rewards earners. Any way I can use my accrued comps at the Pier shops? Ideas? Can you bill purchases at the Pier to a room at Ceasars possibly? I'm trying to see if I can get something from the Apple store to be specific.

Would appreciate if anyone has done this before or knows of a way to get the most out of my comp $$$ with out having to go 2 for 1 as some of the restaurants do on the pier.

Thanks!

The Omaha 8 has $5 and $7.50 blinds.

There is a $1 ante and $2.50 bring in for the Stud 8 game.

In both games, the limits are $7.50/$15.00.

I believe that the minimum buy in is something like $75 or $80, but I personally can't see ever buying into a limit game without being able to cap the betting on all rounds. Usually people buy in for 1 or 2 racks of pink ($250 a rack).

Losses can add up. That's why I've retreated back to the 2/5 NLHE table for a while..... Great game, with a great group of players. Lots of fun and can be profitable. But there is a steep learning curve!

Good news: The Pier stores (most, if not all of them) do take comps (although you might have to go to the Total Rewards counter to get a voucher, I forget).

Bad news: Comps are 2 for 1. $2 in comps equal $1 in spending. Seems to be the way of the world at all non-casino owned stores and restaurants.

Also, you can cash out comps for cash at Harrah's - but at the same 2 for 1 rate. Then spend the cash wherever/however you like.

I don't know if you can bill Pier store purchases to your room at Caesar's. You'ld have to ask.

When are you coming back to the tables, ModernVintage? We miss you (and your hubby, of course).

Making a trip back there 2 wks from now on a long weekend! Haven't been since Feb!

The phone thing is pretty lame, does that include texting? I'm really supposed to back away from the table just to text? I think if they layoff some of the longtime dealers from Harrah's Resort, I'm done playing here.

I would also be down for Razz and the $7.50/$15

Also, can someone tell me what restaurants are out and in? I've taken a look at the Harrahs website and looks like 2-4 restaurants are in now that I've never heard of. Thanks!

No Razz at Harrah's, at least not for now. The pink chip game rocks!

Haven't heard of any layoffs for poker dealers, there is always some turnover of course. Overall, the dealers are very good.

There are some new restaurants. A Mexican place where the Brazilian steakhouse used to be, a new Italian restaurant where the old one used to be, and "Bills Burger and Bar" where "The Deli" used to be.

Might be another that I'm forgetting at the moment.
