As someone who thinks that's a great rule, I sincerely appreciate you choosing to obey the rule and play elsewhere rather than disobey the rule and make a stink about it at the table. A lot of other people would choose to be *******s and waste other players' time to "make a point."

You are not allowed to use a phone while in the hand. You are allowed to use a phone when not in a hand.

Easy walk. There is a sidewalk the entire way, so no problem.

Unless it's pouring rain or something.....

Seriously, it's good exercise and no problem. Easier than walking from Harrah's to the Borgata. And MUCH easier than walking from the Marina to the Borgata!

The 7.50/15.00 pink chip game was going strong Saturday afternoon, and looks to be a repeat on Sunday (today).

Half Omaha, half stud, with both being played hi-low.

Great game, lots of action, big swings.

I actually had a winning session for a change!

I really want to play in that game if I make another trip to AC soon. In your experience, is it just a Saturday/Sunday game?

I've played during the week (both in the morning and night) at Harrah's for the last three years and I have never seen the pink game spread while I was there. They seem to attract the really low limit hold'em players during those times. The main game is $2/$4 and they usually struggle to spread anything higher than that.

$4/$8 Limit is still kiddy poker. It's the same for NL. They always seem to struggle with $2/$5 during the week and rarely get more than one table going.

The mid-day mid-week games at Harrah's are awful. Full of nit regulars that care more about bragging about how much they got the last time the BBJ hit and getting their hours in for the next freeroll than actually playing cards. The action gets tolerable the later you get in the day as those players filter out.

Well, I'm coming to AC Sunday-Wednesday, staying at Bally's since I couldn't get a free room at Harrah's for Sunday night...so I would want to play pink chip mixed game or any low stakes mixed game on Monday or Tuesday if possible...at Harrah's or anywhere. I'm going to mostly play NL, but I'm always interested in playing a mixed game or other games. I guess we'll see...not sure where I'll be and when.

The room is doing fine....three 2/5 NL tables tonight i believe. And the main game was playing with a $10 dead straddle.

I don't know what TBL is talking about, but i believe that Harrah's 2/5 is the softest game in town. They are also the best ran poker room in AC, hands down!

Does 2/5 run everyday? Will be there Tues-Wed (4/5-4/6).

It runs every day but not all day. If you are going to play in the evenings you shouldn't have a problem getting into a game. During the morning and the early part of the afternoon they'll have a few $1/$2 tables and a few limit tables and then open up a $2/$5 when they get enough interest.

If they don't have one, go next door to Borgata. They have $2/$5 non-stop. You can walk (under 10 minutes) but make sure you only do it during daylight. It's not a walk I'd ever consider in the dark if you value your health.

That seems a little paranoid. The wind coming off the bay might mess up your hair but you'll be ok. Most of the riffraff stays by the boardwalk and pacific. Just be observant, and don't be afraid of the dark.

harrahs is pretty generous w/room offers compared to other casinos but everything is determined by your prior play,,,maybe you can inquiry about poker rates when you get there and they can help you but if its a busy weekend you might not find a cheaper rate..

i got a room at harrahs for this sun-wed and will probably play poker the whole time,,,maybe walk to borgata and play some mtts

harrahs is a good place to stay and the poker room and staff are comfortable and friendly

i walk back n forth from harrahs to borgata all the time in the middle of the night and never had a problem and i used to always walk across the vacant lot not the road -- actually enjoy the walk and fresh air even when it's freezing,,also reduces tilt after being knocked out of a borgata mtt

I agree, the walk from Harrah's to Borgata, and Borgata to Harrah's is safe.

The pink chip game at Harrah's is going strong. Played the last 2 days, and it was a lot of fun. Good group of people. Half Omaha, half stud, both high/low. $7.50/$15 structure for those who aren't familiar with pink chip games.

There is a $1 ante and $2.50 bring in for the stud game. Works out well.

Seems to go most days, so if you're looking for something fun and different, come on over to Harrah's. Usually starts around noon or 1:00pm.

I was there a couple of weeks ago. The list got called on a Monday. I showed up. Eventually, 1 other person showed up. No game went all that day. Oh well, I would have liked to play it.

I can tell you what it use to be. (It's been a long time since I wasn't comped) Was $59 during the week and $99 on the weekend. The only stipulation they put on it was that you play a minimum of 4 hours. They also use to wait until the last minute to let you know if they could get you a room. Not sure if they would book a room for you the whole week. The busier the hotel obviously the harder it is to get a room,

I'd suggest you give them a call and talk to someone in the poker room. The floor people at Harrah's AC are about as good as you can get. They are always helpful and will do what they can to help you.

Played here Tues-Wed.

Tues - 2/5 game was decent...played from like 3-12.....good action.....I brought most of it.

Wed - 2/5 game never went....played 1/2 from 6-1.....decent action....pretty quiet room overall.... considering a $400,000+ BBJ.

P.S. Got free room two nights.....and rarely ever go here.
