They do, but only for the base reward credits. 30 cents an hour for 1/2 or 1/3 NLHE, 60 cents an hour for 2/5. The rest of the $1 or $2 is bonus comps.

So, a 10x multiplier on a 1/2 or 1/3 game means you're getting 10 x 30 cents plus 70 cents in bonus comps = $3.70 per hour. Not bad, really.

Yes, it also doubles the Tier score. So, for a 1/3 game it is $2 per hour comps plus 60 Tier Credits. For the 2/5 game it is $4 per hour comps and 120 Tier Credits. The room manager told me that this will be the case through the end of October, and then perhaps beyond. They will re-evalute at some point.

Hi all,

I haven't been to AC in almost two years but am seriously thinking of playing in Harrah's AM tourney on Saturday morning. Does the 4/8 limit game ever run on early Sat afternoons? If not, does anyplace in AC have anything in between 3/6 and 10/20 limit anymore?

Thanks!

Played in the 1:15 Thursday. Was very disappointed only 21 runners, but cashed, so I guess it was OK.

Does anyone know where to ****ing find a full pay JoB machine in Harrah's?

Assuming they haven't been downgraded or moved, there are 3 9/6 JoB machines with denominations from 25c to $2 not far from the Xhibition Bar. If you're walking on the casino floor, the Xhibition Bar will be on your left, a men's room will be on your right, and there will be a bunch of VP and slot machines between you and the men's room. 3 of them are 9/6 JoB.

There are a couple higher limit ones in the Diamond Cove (I believe $5 and $10) but I don't play that high so I can't tell you exactly where they are. AFAIK there's no other full pay VP there other than 9/6 Jacks.

I went out to AC this weekend for the $340. They needed 333 players to cover the $100,000 gtd pot but only 278 entered so Harrah;s added 18,000 to the pot. On Sunday, they had a $200 NLHE with a $40,000 gtd pot. Only 105 were entered with 5 minutes left in the late registration so I signed up to kill time while my buddy was on his way to 8th place in the 100K. Again, Harrah's had to kick $19,400 into the pot to make up the $40,000. Made for a very good $200 tourney. paid 18 places out of a total 108 entrants with winner taking down $10,000+

Question regarding Harrah's poker room. Heading down in a few weeks to play here for the first time since it's the only place I can get free rooms anymore.

What do they normally spread as far as limit hold em is concerned during the week? Also I see they have daily midnight tournies, what kind of turnout do they usually get for these?

If these questions were answered I apologize, I just jumped to the last page of thread and started typing. It's tough to read through every post while at work. Thanks in advance.

With respect to LHE, Harrah's spreads 2/4 regularly and 3/6 or 4/8 miniblind occasionally. But it is an easy walk to Borgata.

I think the midnight tournaments get 3-5 table, but I've never played in one.

Last year, as a diamond player, I had little problem getting room nights during the week (forget weekends) over the summer. I think maybe once or twice in August proved problematic, but mostly I got the nights comped. Can't say about this year, but considering how the numbers have fallen, I don't see why it would be a problem getting comped rooms if applied for well in advance.

Personally, I find that HET treats their poker players terrifically! I wish all casinos were this good to us.

is there a way to get a 7stars card playing nothing but poker? i have a diamond card in vegas playing mostly poker, but also a few VP and VBJ machines. and how easy it is to get free rooms? i couldnt find any looking on the harrahs websites for ac, but i get them all the time at the IP in vegas during the week.

i know with a diamond card in vegas anyway i can use any spa or pool free, is this also true in AC? if so i wonder how many days in a row someone can fall asleep lounging in a chair near the pool as long as they are wearing swimming trunks for several hours without getting woken up by security. as long as i have a diamond card giving me permission to be in the pool area without being a hotel guest i wont get in trouble will i?

If you have a diamond card I would assume you should have no problem with free rooms during the week. I get fliers every month for Harrahs that offer free rooms during the week (Sun - Thur) and I'm only on the gold level.

I haven't seen this mentioned, but apparently Harrah's is offering a promotion to get their 4-8 LHE miniblind game going. Mondays is double comps (and I think double tier points) in the 4-8 game. Good deal for those of us who like LHE!

Double Comps for 4/8 until November. Game was going strong yesterday. So it's $2 an hour in comps and the same tier score as 2/5 NL.
