Played 1/2 nl today. BBJ is about 320k

Question: They have a promotion for hitting a royal flush, which I did today. They took my card and came back saying they comped it "200" Does anyone know if this is $200 comp dollars or just rewards points?

thanks!

Bbj is 325K and the room is almost empty while Caesars has a hour waitlist doesn't make any sense

It does when you realize how many good players play there and also how few fish are there. Also the cards always seem to hate me when I am there but it is still my favorite property.

Yes, the 4/8 limit mini-blind (blinds are $1 and $2, but the betting is 4/8) runs most days. Starts sometime in the afternoon during the week - I'm not sure about weekends.

Hey guys,

Some clarification on the Harrah's Bad Beat Jackpot win two nights ago. The kid that won is a 21-year old from Rutgers who had just lost playing 1/2NL and moved to the 2/4 Limit table right next to it. I think he said his name is Rich or Mitch, or maybe Mike, I really don't remember. He bought in for $60 and was down to his last $19 when the final hand happened. He's also a regular winning player at the Taj, as noted by a lot of people playing. The kid was talking earlier about being at The Water Club with his friends and drunk and just looking to have some fun (aka blow money/give us his money). He also said he was going to med school at umdnj, which is a nice story if true.

Everyone folded to the blinds, and the kid caught 66 on the sb. BB raised to 4, kid calls. Flop comes 6 6 10, turn comes a 10, and the river was a king with the kid going all in and the BB calling. The kid yells out 'quads,' the guy says 'what???' then someone yells bad beat, and the room starts going crazy.

The kid tipped the dealer $2000 while everyone else gave her a few hundred. He knew what the bad beat jackpot was but for some reason thought that the bbj was a straight flush losing to a higher straight flush.

Also, his two friends weren't at the table. He was by himself when it happened and his friends came later and stuck around while everything was being sorted. He was a real quiet kid and I don't recall anyone telling him what the bad beat jackpot was. In fact, he didn't say much of anything until the BBJ hit. Afterwards, he started playing Pokerface by Lady Gaga and started dancing. I felt really good for the guy

Here are the winnings breakdowns:
Kid: $180,000
Other Guy: $90,000
The Rest of us: $11.3k

I hope this clears everything up for you guys. Happy gambling.

It seems kind of inappropriate to me to be posting some of this information. Especially amounts that people tipped. Just because someone got lucky in a poker hand doesn't make them a public figure.

Of all the things posted, the tip amount is what you think is least appropriate? I would go with names being #1 by far.
